“Hundreds of U.S. government employees — including some with sensitive jobs in the White House, Congress and law enforcement agencies — used Internet connections in their federal offices to access and pay membership fees to the cheating website Ashley Madison, The Associated Press has learned.
The AP traced many of the accounts exposed by hackers back to federal workers. They included at least two assistant U.S. attorneys; an information technology administrator in the Executive Office of the President; a division chief, an investigator and a trial attorney in the Justice Department; a government hacker at the Homeland Security Department and another DHS employee who indicated he worked on a U.S. counterterrorism response team.
Few actually paid for their services with their government email accounts. But AP traced their government Internet connections — logged by the website over five years — and reviewed their credit-card transactions to identify them. They included workers at more than two dozen Obama administration agencies, including the departments of State, Defense, Justice, Energy, Treasury, Transportation and Homeland Security. Others came from House or Senate computer networks.
The AP is not naming the government subscribers it found because they are not elected officials or accused of a crime.”

And to provide cover for the White House, as always.
“Last summer, President Obama declared a crisis along the border with Mexico in response to the tens of thousands of unaccompanied children coming into the country. Detention centers in Texas overflowed, prompting the federal Department of Homeland Security to open emergency shelters. Political tempers boiled over — Rick Perry, who was the governor of Texas, ordered 1,000 National Guard troops to defend the border. The Obama administration created a priority juvenile docket in immigration courts to speed up deportation proceedings.
One year later, the number of children arriving at the border has slowed dramatically, in part because Mexico has been returning children to their home countries before they can reach the United States.
But the crisis has not ended. It has simply shifted. It is playing out in courtrooms crowded with young defendants but lacking lawyers and judges to handle the sheer volume of cases. Thousands of children without lawyers have been issued deportation orders, some because they never showed up in court.
“The situation last summer was characterized as part of the overall immigration system being broken and it’s taken us down the wrong policy path,” said Wendy Young, the president of Kids In Need of Defense, a national legal advocacy group. “This is not an immigration crisis, it’s a refugee crisis.”
About 84,000 children were apprehended at the Southwest border during the 2014 fiscal year and the first six months of the 2015 fiscal year, according to the Border Patrol. Of the 79,088 removal cases initiated by the government, 15,207 children had been ordered deported as of June, according to the Migration Policy Institute, a nonpartisan research group in Washington.”
Huh, and yet I’ve been assured they’re only seeking jobs and a better life. Differing definitions perhaps? Something must have been lost in translation.
“Obama administration officials only began notifying local law enforcement officials of the release of violent criminal illegal immigrants within the last two weeks, according to Arizona law enforcement officials, who say they have for years been kept in the dark about the release of illegal immigrants back into local towns.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had been keeping secret its release of illegal immigrants with violent criminal records from local law enforcement for at least two years, denying for a time that this was taking place, law enforcement officials disclosed to the Washington Free Beacon.
The public disclosure of this practice, in which Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) frees criminal illegal immigrants back into U.S. communities, came to light earlier this week, when Arizona law enforcement was made aware that three illegal aliens with violent criminal records had been released back onto the streets.
Local law enforcement officials and members of Congress have expressed outrage over the practice and have petitioned DHS in recent days to end a policy they described as “catch and release.”
At least three illegal aliens released by DHS in recent weeks have been charged with serious crimes, including the beating of a 7-week-old baby and immolation of a person, according to local law enforcement officials and Rep Matt Salmon (R., Ariz.).”
““As pressure mounted, ICE admitted they did release illegals with minor criminal offenses,” the law enforcements source said. “Eventually, they confirmed they did release violent criminal illegals including those convicted of murder, aggravated assault, robbery, kidnapping, and sex crimes.””
“Satan worshipers launched a counter-protest against pro-lifers outside the Detriot and Ferndale, Michigan Planned Parenthood locations Saturday.
Clad in black robes, members of the Satanic Temple of Detriot drenched bound women with milk, simulating water-boarding to “illustrate the theocratic agenda imposed upon female bodies.” The milk symbolized breast milk, one of the protest organizers explained on Facebook.
The group attached a symbol of their temple to the American flag and held up a sign that read, “America is not a theocracy. End forced motherhood.””
“”The Satanic Temple strongly opposes the promotion of misinformation and believes that all people are entitled to make informed decisions about their health, family and future without coercion,” says the group’s web site. “We consider our action a form of worship; the rejection of tyranny is an affirmation of selfhood. So long as perverted theocratic systems of power attempt to manipulate our communities and distort truths for political gain, we will rebel.”
“There was no halftime show under the Friday night lights at Mississippi’s Brandon High School — the marching band had been benched. The band was ordered off the field because the Christian hymn “How Great Thou Art” was a part of their halftime show — in violation of a federal court order.
“The Rankin County School Board and District Office are very saddened students will not be able to perform their halftime show they have worked so hard on this summer,” the district wrote in a statement to the Clarion Ledger newspaper.
In 2013 a student sued the district over a series of Christian meetings that had been held on school property, the newspaper reported. The district later settled the lawsuit and acknowledged they had violated the student’s First Amendment rights.
In July, U.S. District Court Judge Carlton Reeves ruled the district had violated the agreement after a Christian minister delivered a prayer at an awards ceremony. ”
““Defendants are permanently enjoined from including prayer, religious sermons or activities in any school sponsored event including but not limited to assemblies, graduations, award ceremonies, athletic events and any other school event,” the order reads.
Word about the band getting benched spread across the town quicker than kudzu. I must have received emails and Facebook messages from nearly the entire state – from Desoto County to Yazoo City.
Something must be done to right this wrong, people said. A message had to be sent to the likes of Judge Reeves. Locals gathered in coffee shops and garages to devise their plan. ”
“During halftime of Friday night’s game – a lone voice began to sing the forbidden song.”
““We were just sitting there and then one by one people started to stand,” she told me. “At first, it started out as a hum but the sound got louder and louder.”
She said it was a “truly incredible” moment to watch hundreds of people singing together in the stadium. ”
I had no idea of what Ashley Madison was about until I saw it discussed on TV this morning. Seems someone is suing them.
The people deserve what they get on two counts.
1. It was wrong at the beginning.
2. They should know that there are no secrets on the internet. Everything is available to someone who wants it bad enough.
Did you get that Hillary?
The stupid judge should have known that was going to happen.
I could have told him. And I knew what the end was before I started reading that post.
It may not . happen in Vermont of Washington, but It would happen here, I know that for a fact.

” … A one-term pledge by Biden would also interest Elizabeth Warren. She is 66 years old, and if a Democrat wins in 2016, she will be 74 herself by the time someone else has served two terms in office — and facing her own age issues. But if Biden won, after pledging to serve only one term, Warren would be the front-runner for the Democratic nomination in 2020. If Biden made her his vice-presidential choice, as Yale’s Professor Kahn and others have suggested, she might be a virtual lock for the Democratic nomination. …”
These candidates for the Democrats are awfully old, don’t you think? Reagan was, what, 72 when he finished? These people are talking about taking on the job when they’re older than that. Look how President Obama has aged in office. I’m shaking my head.
Nothing? Nothing at all?
