Prayer Requests 6-19-15

It’s Friday, so please remember to pray for Mumsee, Mike, and the Nestlings.

Psalm 21

¹The king shall joy in thy strength, O Lord; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

2 Thou hast given him his heart’s desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah.

3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him.

6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.

7 For the king trusteth in the Lord, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee.

9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the Lordshall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.

12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them.

13 Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.

  3. Heavenly Father,

    Thank You for the many ways You keep us engaged with You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. You are so good to always make Your care known in a variety of ways such as through caring friends (here), our church fellowships, our families, and through the beauty in nature. I praise You for it all.

    Thank You for the relative ease Norma had in transition to be with Jesus. Thank You for the gathering of divine comfort around her bedside. How sweet to hear about such caring friends that make such a difference in earthly sufferings.

    I continue in lifting up my brother to You, Father. You know all the details. Please act, if Your will allows, to remove the bad treatment he has been receiving. Help him to be able to perform his high standards without the obstacles placed before him. Is this being done because of age or because he is Christian? Please help him. Be his strength in weakness.

    Lord, I ask Your special blessing to be upon Joanne today as she celebrates her birthday. May all the details be falling favorably in place as she readies to serve in her missionary roles. Help her to overcome any health hindrances. Thank You for giving her good relationships stateside.

    Please bless Mumsee and Mike and the Nest with a provision greater than anyone has thought to ask for. You know what would make each one there most joyful so I pray You will do that thing for each one. Please help with physical sufferings and setbacks and also with any emotional difficulties that have been strongholds. You are the Knower of exact needs.

    I continue to ask for salvation for any lost loved ones. Please, if necessary, force feet to walk and hearts to beat in sync with Your desires. Do not let Your Way become further obscured from their vision. Please rescue the spiritually frail and withering.

    Thank You, Lord, for helping me progress some on bringing order to our clutter. I am slow but thorough and can do it with Your continuing guidance.

    Please help any who are in need here financially, employment wise, or who are experiencing difficulties in relationships. Help each of us to look to You first for You know best. May we honor You daily by staying in Your word and walking humbly with You. You alone are our sovereign God worthy of all praise and adoration. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen
