Prayer Requests 3-30-15

Anyone have something to share?

Psalm 99

¹The Lord reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.

The Lord is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the Lord, and he answered them.

He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

Thou answeredst them, O Lord our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the Lord our God is holy.

  1. I don’t often ask for prayer for Mr P, mostly because he doesn’t complain. He is in a terrible amount of pain right now. He wants to go and do things and tries, but later pays for it. He wanted to go to the German Sausage Festival this past Saturday and we did. He was in a lot of pain from the walking yesterday. He didn’t sleep well last night. I tend to forget he is in constant pain because he really doesn’t “woe is me” too much.

Please pray that as he starts to see several different doctors on this issue he will find the right one.

  2. I mentioned a couple days ago that R was making a fuss about Forrest having an ear infection, accusing Emily of being negligent for not taking him to the doctor. (R took him to a doctor during his visitation on Saturday, where Forrest was diagnosed as having one. Emily had been in contact with the pediatrician she uses, who told her to wait a few days before coming in. She would have called the doctor that day or the next.)

R is claiming (he’s been calling me, claiming Emily doesn’t communicate with him) that when he picked Forrest up on Saturday, he was crying in pain (no, he wasn’t, he was acting fine), & that he could see that the ear was clogged just be looking in it (I highly doubt that).

Earlier this evening, while Chrissy & I were babysitting, he called me again. And again. He would not let me explain anything. Chrissy grabbed the phone, & told him he should talk to Emily about this, then hung up.

He showed up at the door a little while ago, saying he wanted to check on Forrest. As he held Forrest in his arms (out on the front porch), he suddenly announced “I’m taking my son.” Of course, he has the right to take him if Emily is gone from home for four hours or more, but I don’t like the way he did it.

I looked at Forrest, & he had an expression of being confused, & a bit scared by the situation. As he walked to his car, R was yelling at us, accusing us of letting Forrest suffer for several days, throwing the “f-word” around very loudly.

My poor little guy, to be in the middle of this!

    Please pray for Forrest.

  3. Now he’s claiming that he’s going to go to the courthouse tomorrow to file for a temporary sole custody something-or-other, & a restraining order against Chrissy (because she was standing up to him).

So sick of this “drama” he stirs up.

  4. Pleading for God to get a hold of Emily, so she can start teaching her son about Jesus. Forrest needs to know God is watching over him, even when his father does stupid stuff like this.

  5. As I just wrote over on Our Daily Thread, “He did bring him back after Emily got home, for which we are grateful. Forrest spent a while wanting Emily to hold him.”
