Thirty-one states have laws or court decisions providing substantially similar if not identical protections for religious freedom as the Indiana law, including President Obama’s home state of Illinois. Are all businesses and conventions going to leave those states as well?
If I knew which ones, I would not patronize the business that left a state because of religious freedom laws.
They should remember the Chick-fil-a fiasco. Ours ran out of food that Wednesday.
Cracker barrel too. They declared they would no longer advertise on Duck Dynasty, but quickly reversed course when they discovered who their patrons were.
That’s OK, Chas. There is so much politics going on with the Democratic hangers on it is hard to know where to begin.
Either we must be really, really smart or that other side is blind. We know many of the results of socialist policies before they are done. We can see a little of the future, dimly, as through smoke or fog, but we can see the vague outlines. Liberals are constantly surprised and can’t admit when they are wrong.
They should include businesses. Otherwise they are useless. Do you realize the number of occupations that will be closed to our children if they want to live their faith.
The National Black Church Initiative (NBCI), a faith-based coalition of 34,000 churches comprised of 15 denominations and 15.7 million African-Americans, has broken its fellowship with Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) following its recent vote to approve same-sex marriage.
And the 1st to boycott Indiana is … Karen’s home state (I can’t believe California got beat on this one, we’re slipping):
WASHINGTON — Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy (D) will sign an executive order on Monday barring state-funded travel to Indiana because of the state’s new law that could allow businesses to turn away gay and lesbian customers for religious reasons. Malloy announced his plans on Twitter.

Tychicus – It is my understanding that the Indiana law goes a bit further than the others by including businesses. At least, that’s what I’ve read.
