Prayer Requests 3-26-15

It’s Thursday, so don’t forget to pray for the folks in PNG.

Anyone else?

Psalm 96

¹O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and strength.

Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

  1. Making progress on my documents for my PNG visa. I will have my last doctor’s appointment this morning to get an ekg as they want one for a baseline.
Praising Him as I see posts on facebook that ajsunn or Joanne is successfully raising the funds she needs to return to the Gambia.

  2. Update from my friend Carol:

She’s still at the small community hospital (4 people per room) and a transfer to a bigger hospital where she can get needed treatment and tests (for a fairly urgent hernia surgery and newly discovered lung mass) is on hold due to insurance red tape.

So they’re sending her off to a convalescent home in Pasadena. She told me there is a social worker on staff there (I told her to ask) so I suggested she connect with that person right away to help sort through all of this and make sure she gets to a hospital sooner rather than later.

    So continued prayers … thanks

  3. I also offered to make calls if needed, but she’s got her cell phone & charger with her and seems to be doing what’s needed. She is discouraged as she’s not gotten call backs from her pastor or her brother yet, so pray that they reach her soon and that her faith remains strong
