My daughter returns to LA, driving early tomorrow, to nothing except a pig and two cats to tend for relatives.
She’s now looking into a six months medical/learn Spanish mission in Guatemala. She can’t even begin PA school applications until June and is pretty discouraged–like so many others.
Still praying for the job she needs–and that can use her terrific gifts.
Even as I type this, though, I think I’m more curious about what God will do, than anything.
Please keep me in your prayers, too. My sister and I almost got into “it” today. She is in her busiest time of the year on her job and we are living out of a suitcase. Plus, there are some back issues. God is great. Praise to Him for all the sustaining power he has given me. I need it to continue. Thank you, all!
Husband, in addition to the very swollen and painful hands and feet, now has our cold. Poor guy. He will be staying home from church this morning. Thanks for praying for his comfort and use of time.
Please pray that God would give me favor, or the benefit of the doubt, in the minds & hearts of three particular people. This has to do with a couple awkward, misunderstood email conversations. I feel stupid for trying to explain something from my point of view that two of them turned out not to know anything about, & the third one (who knew about it) misunderstands why I was trying to explain myself. Then I tried to explain why I was trying to explain myself in the first place.
I know, it sounds convoluted, & it is. Feeling stupid. (And yes, these people matter to me.)
