¹Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
My daughter has a job interview at UCLA medical center this week. Looks good . . . please pray if this is God’s will that she gets it. Her life is empty after December 25 as of right now.
Someone is coming to observe me with my class today to prepare for teaching one or two days a week. I woke up thinking about all the things I need to show her. The room is 75 feet long and you could hunt a long time and not find things.
First I need prayers for BG just guidance nothing earth shattering
Then I need prayers for me. I just can’t seem to win at work. We normally have a 4pm meeting on Monday only I was told two weeks ago that I didn’t need to attend. We didn’t have it last week and today I had to take BG to the doctor. I told them I would try to make it back at by 4. When I got back at 3:30 they were already meeting, not in the conference room as we usually do, but in someone’s office with the door closed. I came back to my office and started working–I took that to mean I wasn’t included. They just all got out of the meeting and I got scolded for missing a very important part of the meeting. The door was shut. What was I supposed to think? What should I have done?
My granddaughter, Keiana, is sick. She is doing fairly well, but still has a fever. She had a febrile seizure when we were there yesterday. None of us realized what was happening at first. In fact her brothers were laughing at her, because they thought she was pretending not to notice them at all. Fortunately, my daughter realized what was happening, since her first child had these when he was younger. I held her while she slept it off. Later she threw up on me. I was not too concerned, since she seemed better than she had been. I was glad I had another pair of pants to where to my grandson’s piano recital, which was happening a short time later.
She has been checked out by a doctor. It is probably a virus. Prayer is always welcomed.
Kim–that is a horrible work environment. It would be very stressful for anyone. Something wrong with the management for sure, IMO. Shame on them for scolding you! They should be called out for not informing you or communicating what they want you to do.
And they started 30 minutes early — they should have at least texted you or otherwise let you know they’d begun early & to just come on in if you got back in time to catch part of it. How would you know that was *the* (4 p.m.) meeting, and not some other closed-door thing going on?

If the meeting wasn’t scheduled, there is no fault in missing it.

Sheesh.
