Prayer Requests 11-18-14

Does anyone have something they’d like to share?

Psalm 134

¹Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord.

Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord.

The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.

  1. Please pray for the staff meeting this morning. Pray that we will feel God’s presence and leading. Pray for wisdom for me as to when to speak up and when to shut up.
I really feel like smacking some people upside the head and telling them to stop acting like 12 year old girls!

  2. I would like to ask for prayers for me. The company leaders are meeting this week to discuss the survey they took asking for feedback. They are now working on a SWOT plan. I am just hoping that I still fit in somewhere.

  3. A couple (in their 40s), devout Catholics lost their adoption yesterday–when the birth mom delivered and texting them saying “No.” They’re devastated and so is their adopted four year-old. Some of you understand this more than others, but if you can, please remember Fiona,Mark and little Ryan who doesn’t understand what happened to his long anticipated sibling.

  4. Praise: I am now on the last unit of my science course. Also, I got a very good mark on the first unit of my English/Writing course.

Prayer: My father had a nasty fall yesterday and wrenched his shoulders badly. He already had torn muscles in both shoulders (which he decided not to have repaired surgically), so this is not good. Especially as my mother is increasingly disabled from her rheumatoid arthritis – she is very slow getting up and down stairs now. I try to help, but I am not strong enough to do my father’s tasks, like chopping wood.

  5. Praying for you all….
I have experienced the feelings Kare…my husband always declares I need therapy due to my overwhelming urge to smack someone! 😛
Continuing to pray for you Kim…may our Lord give you favor and may your coworkers see your heart and passion…

  6. That’s a hard thing, Michelle, but potentially better for the baby. The baby has been bonding with that mother for several months. It is very damaging to break that bond. Adoptions in the first three years are especially hard on children and their ability to trust. Prayer for healing for the loss to the adoptive folks and prayer for sticking with it for the bio mom. It is a hard thing all around.
