Prayer Requests 6-16-14

Anyone have a request or praise they’d like to share?

Psalm 142

¹ I cried unto the Lord with my voice; with my voice unto the Lord did I make my supplication.

I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble.

When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul.

I cried unto thee, O Lord: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living.

Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.

Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.

  1. Thank you for your prayers for Jenn.

Her fever broke, so she is hopeful that she will be able to attend her son’s graduation. She writes that he has had some obstacles along the way, but worked hard to make her proud.

The matter of her tailbone protruding means she can’t sit for more than half an hour, but she is in a wheelchair, which means she can’t stand long, either. Praying it will all work out well for her tonight. (I think the graduation ceremony is in the evening, but I could be mistaken.)

  2. Just got back from the ER with an asthma attack in the eight year old. What a way to spend three hours. They gave him three treatments and some steroid and several pharmacy pickups and he will need the nebulizer every four hours. I am glad my company arrives today. Prayer for wisdom on when to take him in and when not and to discover what his allergens are. Thanks.
