Psalm 139
¹O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.
4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.
5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.
6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.
7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.
19 Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
20 For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.
21 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
I so appreciate you all praying for me on your Thursday and my Friday. I am tired by the end of the week and prayers are so nice. 6th grade graduation tomorrow.
And I am happy to pray for you. Having had some experience living in different cultures, I do know that there are emotional challenges as well as the physical. And I am glad to have the real take the time to remind us of these opportunities to serve each other in prayer.
thanks, Mumsee. After three days in Brisbane, the quints are flying into Ukarumpa. Just heard their plane arrive. Friends decorated the outside of their home with flowers and balloons.
Thank You for my Brothers and Sisters in Christ who I know only here on this site. They are my daily source of Christian community unlike what I have encountered elsewhere. You have given us all such a good gift through AJ”s consistent work on this blog. Thank You for giving him this personal ministry to encourage believers.
Lord, I lift up Jo as her week winds down and she prepares her heart for new responsibilities over the summer. Thank You for her productive school year. Please help her to have the needed reliable van to be an answer to many prayers. Help the quints to adjust well to being in PNG. Please bless all the work going on there to get Your word into the hands and hearts of the people there.
Lord, I pray for Ajisuun as she has time at home. Help her with health issues. May she be able to find solutions for all her medical and other concerns. You know all her needs, mentioned and unmentioned. Help her to find time to visit all she needs to see. Please cut the red tape that hinders any of her efforts to efficiently take care of business.
Lord, I ask that You continue to bless all the children and grandchildren of the bloggers at this site. Help those who are homeschooling to have wisdom and stamina. It is a long haul project that seems overwhelming at times.
Lord, You alone know the depths and widths of need at the nest Mumsee and Mike have provided. Thank You for their great commitment to bring these young who had a rough beginning into your light. May VBS have an eternal impact on the young in attendance this week.
The needs seem to grow greater and greater in our world, Lord. Please help those fleeing barbaric enemies who are bloodthirsty thugs in the name of their religious beliefs. Please give safety and shelter, protection from forces of evil, sources of divine comfort and encouragement. Help any suffering from PTSD because of their continuous threats to their lives. Please be the ready help to those in desperate trouble. Plesae make a way out for the imprisoned lady and two children im Sudan. Nourish them and double the blessings on those willing to help her in someway.
Lord, please bless the new day with times of reaching out to others in some way to let them know about Jesus. Especially I pray for the Apartment Life Cares ministry. The harvest is great in apartment communities. Please increase the workers and give them resoures to plan events highlighting Christian fellowhip as a part of Your love.
Thank You for Bosley waking me up so I would have this time to linger in Your throne room. You are awesome. I anticipate seeing sparkles of Your goodness throughout the day and night. In Jesus’ name, Amen
