Prayer Requests 5-21-14

Who would like to share a request or praise with us today?

And it’s Wednesday, so don’t forget The Gambia.

Psalm 112

¹Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

  1. Ditto. 🙂

And Cheryl has informed me that she has a meeting with HR tomorrow about the position she interviewed for. So if you could pray for her it would be appreciated. 🙂

  2. Heavenly Father,

Thank You that we can put our trust in You. You are our ultimate reason for being. I pray that Michelle and Cheryl will be able to whisper a prayer of concern and know without a doubt that You hear and take care of it. I ask that they be given Your perspective about their concerns. Open their eyes to anything that would help them advance on the course You have prepared for them. Thank You for the skills you have given them to do their work in such a manner that they receive favor from superiors and above that from You. Thank You that You have placed them with suppotive families and friends. Thank You that their family members are well so that they are able to venture out as You call them to go forth in new endeavors. Please give them, Michelle especially, a second wind when she feels spent and like she has no more to give. In her weakness please show Your strength as You carry her over the finish line…iin Your strength for Your glory! Thank You, Abba, for the blessings gifted to these Sisters in Christ. I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen

  3. Thank you all for your prayers; today was much better and the creativity is flowing nicely. I’m thinking of putting together a prayer team to help me through the end of this book. If anyone is interested, let me know. Thanks again.

  4. You can count me in, Michelle.

A praise to God that no one was injured, and there was almost no damage in the two-car accident which 1st Arrow was in today. Although it was a little alarming to get a call from the insurance company, giving me a claim number for an accident I never knew had happened until then…
