Prayer Requests 5-15-14

Who has a request or praise they’d like to share?

And it’s Thursday, so please remember Jo and the folks in PNG.

Psalm 106:1-5

¹Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? who can shew forth all his praise?

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.

Remember me, O Lord, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;

That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance.

  1. I’ll be driving today from about ten to two, so prayers for safe travels would be appreciated.

    Please continue to pray for my brother, Mike.

  2. Today was A Morning in Prayer, which we have once a month. I was privileged to pray with a team that is here to take a Translator’s Training course. Many Nationals are here for six weeks to take these courses. Please pray for these men and women away from their families and struggling to learn so much.
    We also had prayer for our 24 Seniors in High School as they prepare to graduate and to leave Ukarumpa. Even the National students in this class are planning to go to the US for school. Tychicus, two of them are heading for John Brown University. Will you be leaving soon?

  3. Also, prayers for my sister would be appreciated, too. She’s struggling with all of the suffering around her. And, she’s having doubts about God. As a missionary spouse, she feels she has no one to whom she can safely discuss her current crisis of faith. Thanks.

  4. Also requesting prayers for safe travels. Second Arrow graduates today, and will have a four-hour drive ahead of her to get to the ceremony; we will have a two-hour drive; and an aunt, uncle and cousin of hers will be on the road approximately 10 hours to get to the ceremony tonight. Thank you.

  5. Thank you all for your prayers for Lee. He sent me an email telling me that before work this morning, he surrendered everything to God. Of course, he still has a long road ahead, & will have to continue surrendering the worry & stress, but this is a good start, & I am praying for him every day.

  6. another good interview – I don’t have a clear picture of how well it went, but I walked away feeling peace regardless of what happens next. Also had an interesting conversation with the director in my current area ( I direct reported to her for almost 7 years before her promotion to director, so I have had a different manager for the last year) she usually likes to have the last word, but God gave me the right words to say to remain respectful, but seemed to stop her instinct to rebut

  7. We’re back home, and all went well with the travels I listed above, and with the young arrows at the ceremony. Thank you for praying.
