Prayer Requests 5-1-14

Anyone have a request? A praise maybe?

And it’s Thursday, so don’t forget PNG and those ministering there. 🙂

And it’s the National Day of Prayer, so please remember to pray for our country today as well.

Psalm 93

¹The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.

  1. I am praising the Lord for clear answer to prayer. I have been able to pack for several days and feel almost like a person without Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I am amazed at how good and strong I have felt. I started feeling really tired yesterday, so I’m taking it slower today, but I am thrilled to get a taste of something closer to normal. Keep praying. I have a little more packing to day and then visiting, then the last minute packing and all the people coming here the last couple days to say good bye. It’s still early in the game, but God is faithful!

  2. So thankful to hear that, Ajisuun. Indeed God is faithful! I will continue to pray.

I’m back with another prayer request. My father-in-law was hospitalized this morning with an infection in his leg that developed yesterday, I believe. He has been going downhill, health-wise, for some time now, and had been hardly able to walk on Easter when we last saw him. In fact, the prayer request InButNotOf put on the April 25 prayer thread reads almost exactly like what I could say about my fil.

Please pray for him, and also my husband, who, though normally pretty calm in circumstances like these, is definitely more on edge than is typical. He’s going to visit his dad tomorrow (he was already at work for the day when his brother notified him about their dad’s hospitalization, and he won’t get done until late tonight), but hubby called here, sounding a little panicked, wondering if we had a copy of my fil’s living will in our safe.

Prayers appreciated for my mil, as well. Thank you.

  3. I am praying over these requests and others.

Sometimes when I type out prayers they go missing in transmission so l don’t want to have that happen again today.
