Family day went wonderfully this past weekend, at least for us. We were delighted in the growth of young man. He was confident, spoke up, interacted with all, introduced us to friends and faculty, showed us his home with pride. His teachers all knew him as about the most polite boy up there, always willing to help and offering to help, slow start as far as turning in his work but that is changing and he is cooperative. Please feel free to continue praying as he continues working. He should come out with a GED which is way beyond where he was last year. And probably a job offer. It was good to see the children working so well together in their marching and ceremony. Thanks.
Mumsee, last Sunday evening we had a report from the owner of the local Chick-fil-a. He has adopted a girl from China. She had been left on a park bench. A lady who keeps foster children took her to raise. But he adopted the girl when she was eight. She is 13 now and speaks English well. She recently trusted Christ and accepted His salvation.
They made a trip back to China recently to visit her foster mother and explain her experience with Christ. No report of conversion, but they were all excited about the visit.
Turns out, they were not supposed to do that. The foster parents are not supposed to see the adopted child again.
But they got to speak to lots of people. And they were excited about their visit.
When someone asked if she missed China, she said that she was happy to be an American, and her ambition was to get her own Chick-fil-a franchise. But since she speaks the language and is familiar with that area, she might consider being a missionary to China.
Considering how they found her and brought her here, and she found her way back, it may be that the Lord has plans for this little girl. (She is small for her age. Probably her oriental heritage.)
Be still, and know…

Wonderful news, Mumsee!
Prayers for me and Hubby. Hubby and I just had a fight. I am at fault. I’ve apologized, but there are still hurt feelings.

Praying, Ann. Sometimes it takes a while with the feelings, but your apology will help in the meanwhile. Blessings.
