Today is Baby Girl’s birthday. I haven’t requested prayer for her in a long time. She is becoming more pleasant to be around. I would like to surround her in prayer today. Thank you in advance.
Thank You for allowing us the honor of reading and hearing Your blessed Scriptures and the words of Jesus, our Lord. Thank You for being only a thought or prayer away at any point in time, and at any point of need. I pray for BG that You will fill the moments of this day, the first day of her sixteenth year, with blessings on top of blessings. May she feel wrapped in a force field that repels evil but lets all goodness filter through. I pray for Kim to focus on the joy You put into this day and how her daughter is doing Big Girl things now. She is growing up into the person You made her to be. Praise You, Abba, for the many blessings that have gotten Kim and BG this far in life.
Lord, I pray for the familial difficulties that Annms’s sister is dealing with.T lift up the disgruntled to You that You will give wisdom that passes understanding given past attitudes . May peace enter the household and invade and conquer unruly hearts. May a new realization take place regarding the fragile nature of our world and how it is best if at all possible to remain at peace with all people. Your words in the Bible make that clear for our benefit and for us to live with clear consciences. Thank You for the peace You give unlike what the world gives. I pray in the name of Jesus, Savior of the world, Amen
Prayer requested for my eye exam today. As far as I know everything’s fine — I just need new glasses in a bad way — but I find that I worry about my eyes and other things as I get older, knowing more serious things can show up.
I haven’t mentioned my Daddy J in a while. He is still in the process of dying but he is now able to breath on his own. He can be moved to a nursing home but there are only two in the area that will take him with the treach and they are both over near me which is a long way for the rest of his family who live in West Mobile.
If the treach is removed they have more options of where he can go. Tomorrow afternoon they are removing it. He is on a no-code and DNR. If he goes into distress during the surgery that is it. I am going over tomorrow afternoon for the surgery.
My prayer is that God’s will be done. Please pray with me for him.

My eyes are fine, but I do need new glasses. They didn’t have any frames I liked. So now I have to go frame shopping; I did see some I liked at Walmart several weeks ago, I may go get those and just bring them to the doctor’s office (with my insurance it won’t be that much more than getting them filled at the discount places — and my doctor suggested that the progressive lenses are tricky & I should try to get those through them; the single-vision reading glasses can be filled anywhere without much risk of getting it wrong, he said).
You are there for us, no matter the time or place where we are. We reach out to You. You see our attempts at communication with You. You know what is in our hearts even if we don’t always get our words out right. Sometimes we don’t even know what to pray. You’ve got us covered on that, too. The Holy Spirit groans out to You the requests we ourselves can’t verbalize. Thank You for such a great love You have for us.
Lord, thank You for the good birthday celebrations yesterday and for 6 Arrows good testimony of how she has experienced Your hand of blessing upon her. Thank You for peace, joy and contentment.
Lord, I pray for Kim’s ‘request that Daddy J would make a smooth and flawless transition for the destination You have designed for his life today. I pray for all who watch and wait to feel Your comfort and presence. There is none like You to give peace, rest and even joy in the midst of sorrow. Thank You for the life of Daddy J and the love that went out into the world, especially the love he showed our sister in Christ, Kim. You are our most loving Abba.

Kim – I found that Emily matured & calmed down quite a bit between ages 16 & 17. Does BG have a real relationship with Jesus? Praying for you both.
