Prayer Requests 6-8-13

Who can we pray for today?

Psalm 93

1 The Lord reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, for ever.

  1. Tomorrow, June 9, it will have been 12 years since Chrissy, a day shy of her 9th birthday, “went forward” at an altar call at a children’s crusade-type of thing. This was a very unusual thing for my shy, wallflower girl to do, but she told me that she felt the tug of the Holy Spirit in her heart (my words, based on what she described at the time) & knew she needed to respond.

Please pray that the Holy Spirit will remind her of what she felt that day. (Yes, I know we’re not supposed to rely on feelings, but much of what we know, we experience as a kind of feeling or sense.)

  2. Lord Jesus, I pray as Chrissy awakens this morning, that she will remember the day she felt the tug upon her heart to follow you…the day she realised her need of a Saviour…the day she fell in love with you and received forgiveness. I ask now Holy Spirit that you would draw her close and give to her the sense of knowing she is yours and you are hers. To bring comfort, peace and direction in her life in the knowing she serves a Mighty God…we trust that you will hear our prayers and we thank you in Christ’s name…amen
And as always, we come before you and ask that you watch over the precious one’s in Mumsee’s care…give her direction and wisdom and please open the eyes and ears of the little one’s you have entrusted to her…thank you for the hearts that beat for you in your mission to reach the lost and to heal the broken hearted….amen
