Who can we pray for today?
Psalm 70
1 Make haste, o God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.
2 Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
3 Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha, aha.
4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
5 But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help and my deliverer; O Lord, make no tarrying.
Prayer here as the fifteen through seventeens deal with their emotions. Overall, they do very well, but they could still use prayer. As could we in our dealings with them, trying to teach them to use their brains rather than their emotions while, at the same time, teaching them that emotions are also a gift from God.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the range of emotions You have blessed Your children with. Thank You for the guidance of caring adults such as Mumsee and Idaho Mike who help with the teenagers whose emotions are sometimes on the edge of acceptable and at times over the brink. Please help those who are suffering through raging hormones and at a loss as to what they need to do with themselves. Help them to look to You as their source of comfort. May they discover the peace You give freely to those who make the effort to focus on You and let other cares go over to Jesus who is a major burden-bearer for those in trouble times. I pray that these teenagers will find the usefulness of the energy in their emotions so that the energy can be channeled to do good things in this world of needs. May the teenagers always show themselves to be good examples for the younger children. Thank You for the ways these teens and their caregivers will be bringing glory to You. They are certainly a blessing to all who know of them and the way they put into effect a bit of Your kingdom on earth. I pray in the name of Jesus, Amen
