Who can we pray for today?
And it’s Wednesday, so please remember to pray for our friends and the other workers in Gambia today. They are reaching out to people who need it, and providing needed services, while in service to our Lord. I’m thankful for them, and their work.
Psalm 40:1-5
1 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
Prayer for husband. He may have broken a rib yesterday, coughing. He is in a bit of discomfort. A lot when he moves certain ways.

Mr. Klasko and I (mostly I) will be dogsitting the greyhound while Daughter is working in DC on Thursday and Friday. She is bringing the greyhound over tonight. We have 3 dogs and a cat who is not overly fond of the greyhound. We have done this on weekends, but this is the first weekday. Prayers for all of it to go well for the next couple days.

Please pray for my 9yo granddaughter Katie. She amputated the the end of her middle finger yesterday evening. They did surgery last night to re-attach it, but only give her a 10% chance of it working. Since it was a crush injury,(caught between reigns, branch, horse, etc), they are not sure that the vessels will open up and start circulating blood to that area or not. Please pray that it will. She is to return to the doc on Friday and they will determine then if it has worked or not. If not, they will schedule amputation on next Tuesday. I know that God has been in this from the start, as we live over 100 miles from the nearest hospital, and she was in surgery with a hand specialist within 4 hours of the accident.
I also wanted to say that I do pray for all of the requests posted here every day. I rarely post because I would rather listen than talk. Thanks.

Peanut has been Chrissy’s kitty since Chrissy was 9 years old (she’s almost 21 now). Although we’ve acquired two others in the last few years, plus a couple of dogs, Peanut is her “baby”, the one who always cuddles with her at night.
Now Peanut has a noticeable growth on her hip, which may or may not be cancer. But to have it removed & tested costs more than we can currently afford. Fortunately, Peanut isn’t acting ill or in pain for the time-being.
Please pray that God will minister to Chrissy’s heart in some way through this – perhaps a miracle of healing for Peanut, or a financial miracle for us, or “merely” the Father’s comfort to her spirit in a way she can perceive.
Thank you.

Oh, the “her” in the last sentence is Chrissy. 😉

Though, upon re-re-reading it, I see maybe that was clear after all.
