Well if you haven’t seen the photos out there of the President skeet shooting, you’re missing out. I love the fact that they released it with a warning not to photoshop it, since it was an “Official White House Photo”.  Why not just invite people to openly mock him? Your warning now ensures that they will, and they did. 🙂

From Twitchy

“Hilarity ensues as Twitter users caption and Photoshop Obama’s shooting photo”

“Wait, did we say Twitter users have been Photoshopping that picture of President Mom Jeans and his shotgun? Can’t be. As Twitchy reported earlier today, the White House issued the photo with the stern warning that it “may not be manipulated in any way.” Some of these are just captions, though, and the rest aren’t manipulations, but rather a process left over from the Bush era calledenhancement.”

Some are now reacting to the Obama admin losing the NRLB case, and the recess appointments being invalidated. Unions who benefited from the illegally stacked board’s decisions are pretty upset.

From Reuters

“A California-based hospital company says it will not comply with at least two National Labor Relations Board rulings from the past year after a federal court invalidated three of President Barack Obama’s recess appointments to the NLRB last week.

Prime Healthcare Services, which owns 21 hospitals in California and three other states, told Reuters on Wednesday that it had informed one of its employee unions that it would not follow an NLRB ruling mandating the collection of union dues even after a collective bargaining agreement has expired, or a ruling compelling employers to provide unions with certain materials during internal investigations.”

“One lawyer for the Prime Healthcare union, the Service Employees International Union-United Healthcare Workers West, said the board’s rulings from last year remain the law and criticized Prime Healthcare’s stance.”

This last one is sad. New York City seems intent on holding their title of Abortion Capitol of the US. They continue to allow liberal ideals to dictate policy. Policy that the numbers show, is a failure.

From TheNYPost

“Plan B has become Plan A in the Bloomberg administration’s stealth war on teen pregnancy.

Handouts of the “morning-after pill” to sexually active students have skyrocketed under an unpublicized project in which health centers in public schools offer girls a full menu of free birth-control drugs and devices, records obtained by The Post show.

Last September, the city revealed it had started giving out Plan B and other birth control in the nurses’ offices of 13 high schools. At the time, officials said 567 girls had gotten Plan B.

But the birth-control blitz was much bigger than the city had acknowledged. About 40 separate “school-based health centers” doled out 12,721 doses of Plan B in 2011-12, up from 10,720 in 2010-11 and 5,039 in 2009-10, according to the newly released data.”

  1. I know Chas,

There’s much worse/funnier out there. Did they reall think people wouldn’t do this if they sternly warned them not too? I think they think a little too highly of themselves.

  2. AJ, I am surprised that you did not include Chris Kyle in the News today. He is the author of the book American Sniper. He was shot by a fellow Iraqi war Vet over the weekend. Chris was trying to help the vet deal with his PTSD. Chis used the 300 Win Mag and had over 150 kills in Iraqi. An American Hero is gone now. 😥

  3. As a girl, Obummer holds a gun like a girl. It is up too high on his shoulder,

As the mother of a 15 year old girl, I would come UNGLUED if I found out my daughter had been given birth control at school. She is currently under the care of a therapist and an endocrinologist. I would not want ANYONE but an OB/GYN who had access to her medical records from the endocrinologist prescribing ANYTHING that would mess with her body chemistry. She is now 5’4″ and weighs 100 lbs. How is a school nurse supposed to know the right dosages to give when a lot of pharmacists have to catch and correct doctors mistakes on dosages of drugs?????

  4. And how about this leaked UN report that the sun just might have something to do with Global Warming?

““[Results] do suggest the possibility of a much larger impact of solar variations on the stratosphere than previously thought, and some studies have suggested that this may lead to significant regional impacts on climate,” reads a draft copy of a major, upcoming report from the U.N.’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).</blockquote"

  5. Reaction to Plan B–don’t they already offer birth control? Wouldn’t it be cheaper to handle the kids sexuality that way?

Cheaper than teaching them facts about the advantages of abstinence?

Treat people like animals and those who don’t know better will behave like animals. 😦

  6. I suspect he was making the point that PTSD should not be treated on the firing range, as he said. A couple of my children tried to make the same point until I asked which of them should not be allowed to hunt with their own personal diagnosis. Uh, well, um….. This is the way we try to restore our children, through animal therapy and hands on work. It appears to be effective but we won’t know that for sure for another eighty years or so. I suspect the SEAL was attempting the same thing, as many other groups are doing. There will be complications. I am saddened the men died, I am saddened for the guy who did it. But I would not suggest they were going about it. wrong.

  7. Joe,

I wanted to wait a little to see if more info came out, as initial reports were vague. The man deserves to have folks know the whole story, not just the sensationalized junk the MSM has jumped out with. Specifically, his work trying to help a fellow vet with serious problems. It’s quite sad. Even sadder is the response from anti-gun liberals.

    Roy,

    Not. Touching. That. One.

I’ve never been a fan of his, even less so after this. It was uncalled for.

  8. The hostage situation in Alabama has ended. The boy is safe.

    http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/02/04/16836632-alabama-hostage-crisis-over-after-7-days-boy-safe-kidnapper-dead?lite

“A 5-year-old boy held captive for seven days in an underground bunker in southern Alabama is alive and his kidnapper is dead, Special Agent in Charge Stephen Richardson said at a press briefing on Monday afternoon.

“Within the past 24 hours negotiations deteriorated and Mr. Dykes was observed holding a gun,” Richardson, of the Mobile, Ala. FBI office, said in a brief statement. “At this point, FBI agents, fearing the child was in imminent danger, entered the bunker and rescued the child.”

The child was recovered at 3:12 p.m. CT and appears physically unharmed, Richardson said. He is being treated at a local hospital.”
