Who, or what, would you like us to pray for today?
Psalm 33:1-5
1 Sing for joy in the Lord, O you righteous ones;
Praise is becoming to the upright.
2 Give thanks to the Lord with the lyre;
Sing praises to Him with a harp of ten strings.
3 Sing to Him a new song;
Play skillfully with a shout of joy.
4 For the word of the Lord is upright,
And all His work is done in faithfulness.
5 He loves righteousness and justice;
The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the Lord.
From baby Liam’s mom this morning:
“Liam had another good day! So thankful they aren’t trying to send us home anymore cause that just felt like a downward spiral. Since they started focusing on getting him to Vancouver and surgery he has been doing so much better. Please pray that Vancouver works out so they only have to take out the mutated parts of his pancreous rather than almost all of it. Thank you all so much for all your thoughts and prayers!!”

Heavenly Father,
I praise You for Your many and varied ways of healing. We are never even aware of the many times You heal us before we become aware that something is not quite working right in our bodies. Thank You for those unseen healing mercies You provide daily behind the scenes. Also thank You for those seen healings that take place over time and through the knowledge and actions of those in the medical community such as is happening with baby Liam and others who are in children’s hospitals. You have given great medical advances for the benefit of Your children in this day and time. Thank You that Liam was placed in this day and time so his parents have this blessed hope for his future well-being. And Lord, we certainly thank You for those “Miracles” of healing that happen unexpectedly. Those unexplainable healings when the only thing that can be said is “It is a miracle from God.” Those kinds of miracles are not seen as often, but truly all the other healings are miracles, too. Thank You for them all.
Lord, I continue to lift up to You the many others who have expressed needs here in the days past. Time does not allow me to list them all, but You know the who, what, when, where and why in each case. Please show Yourself mighty in each need. I thank You for Your multitude of good and kind actions this day to make this world a better place. May all of us Christians know an eternity of thanksgiving and praise to You on most high. Praying in our loving Savior’s name, Jesus, Amen

Thank you Kare. i haven’t been on a job interview in 25 years. Before quitting my job to stay home with my son 6 years ago, I worked for the same company for 19 years.

KBells, prayers. (I know what you mean, too, about going on a job interview after so long — I haven’t done it, probably should be trying; but the whole notion is simply daunting to me!)
