What should we pray about today?
John 14:1-6
1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

A young man, Daniel, from my previous church was in a serious car accident Sunday night. They had to remove his spleen, which is particularly bad news because he has many medical issues already, and the spleen is part of the immune system. He is having a hard time with pain medications (he’s allergic to many of them, so they’re limited in what they can use; therefore he is in pain and ill too). The family is precious to me and has experienced much health-related suffering through the years, and Daniel is fairly newly married (two years).
BTW, I haven’t been on this site much lately, but I did just go back and read the last couple days’ prayer threads, and prayed for some of the issues there.

Praising God for a full pantry and a husband who sees to it. Unexpected company today so I was preparing dinner for twenty one rather than twelve.
