Prayer Requests 11-13-12

Who, or what,  should we pray for today?

Psalm 16:5-8

5 Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup;
    you make my lot secure.
6 The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
    surely I have a delightful inheritance.
7 I will praise the Lord, who counsels me;
    even at night my heart instructs me.
8 I keep my eyes always on the Lord.
    With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

  1. Hubby just had lunch with David. It is not good. He does have lymphoma.The best doctor for that is in Houston. They don’t have the money to go to Houston. Plus the doctor made him quit one of his two jobs. Hubby paid off a small loan for him. Pray especially for us as we consider what more we can do for he and his family. With Hubby looking at a possible cut in his job that’s not much right now.

  2. Heavenly Father,

    Thank You for the many blessings You have given us this day. Probably not one of us has gone without our daily bread today. But we know those who do, Lord. In the Bible Jesus told Peter, “Feed my sheep.” We do look around and see the needy among us, Lord. Please bless us with plenty to share. You have Your ways to make things happen. We ask that You would hurry on that for Kbells. Do not tarry on this one for the need is now. Please help David as he looks forward perhaps to what he expects will be a gloomy time. Help him, Lord, to feel Your presence in the midst of his sad times. Help his family as they are sad to see him sad. Bring an unexpected happiness into their lives. May they feel blessed that they have good friends who desire to help. Thank You for the answers to our prayers. I pray in the blessed name of Jesus, Amen
