  1. Please pray for my friend’s brother, Denny. He was having intense seizures and is now in a medically induced coma. Both her parents are dead and Denny is her only sibling.

  2. This isn’t so much a prayer request as it is a praise or a thank you.

Janice, I know it takes time to type out your prayers that you say for those of us who have asked. I just want you to know what a blessing it is to read your words for those you pray for.

    Thank you,
    Kim

  3. More details on the accident I mentioned yesterday. The suspects have been apprehended. One was only 18 years old. The baby who died was a 10 month old girl.

  4. Update: “Nicole has been admitted to the hospital. Her GI tract is still very sluggish and slow to wake up. She has a bowel obstruction and is in a lot of pain. Please pray for her GI motility to improve and for Matt and Nicole’s life to “normalize” pray also that this doesn’t hinder the start of chemotherapy. Pray for comfort, peace and healing. In Christ-

This is the young woman with small children and ovarian cancer I asked you to pray for before.

  5. Thank you, Kim and all, for your expression of appreciation about the written prayers. Some days I have more time than others and today I have not been here much because of many activities at church—WMU Bible study/missions program and lunch and later in the day another Bible study/prayer group time. I have not always been this active in church, but am really enjoying the fellowship there now.

  6. Heavenly Father, This has been a most beautiful fall day. Thank you for the joy found in the changing of the seasons. You make everything beautiful in its time and You gave us eyes to enjoy it.

Lord, as some of us feel well enough to enjoy the weather there are others in our world, in our communities who are not well. We say they are ‘under the weather’ because they are caught up in the storms of life. I pray for Denny, Nicole and Darby along with others who have been mentioned at other times. Please meet each of them right where they are, in the midst of pain and suffering or even unaware of their surroundings while the medical staff does what they can to make things all better. I pray for their families to be strong in the face of long hours by the bedside or in whatever capacity they are serving their loved one. Thank You for supplying faith to those who must endure these trials that can bring much heartache to those involved. Waiting, waiting, waiting…Lord, please bring relief soon!

Lord, I pray thank You for the apprehension of those suspects in the case of the family that was caught up in the route of the fleeing robbers. Even though they have caused this devastating tragedy, Lord, I do pray for their souls to be released from the bondage of sin and rebellion against You and the laws of our land. I pray while they are imprisoned that they can be presented the gospel message of Jesus as their Lord and Savior and that their lives may be turned around for good. May they recognize the error of their ways, come to terms with being sinners and get right with You. Please ease the anger and sorrow that is felt by the surviving family members of the deceased and also by the family of those who have been taken to jail.

I’m still lifting up the downed officer in San Diego. Please let him grow stronger day by day, Lord. Bless his partner for his good deed attitude of giving his portion to the other officer who can use the funds for his children’s education. It is so nice to hear of people who act so unselfishly.

Bless all the people on this blog site, Lord. These are mostly people who have hearts after You. And we pray for any who have not yet recognized Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Bring them around soon, Lord. In Jesus’ name, Amen
