Vote Fraud Is Non-Existent!

Just keep telling yourself that.

We’ll start off with the original from TheHill

“Several Virginia Democrats have asked the Justice Department to investigate allegations of voter fraud surrounding a GOP firm working in the Old Dominion and other battleground states.

Reps. Jim Moran, Bobby Scott and Jerry Connolly say recent allegations of registration fraud by Strategic Allied Consulting in Florida — combined with last week’s voter-fraud arrest of a Republican operative linked to the firm in Virginia — merit a federal probe to determine if the episodes “are connected and constitute a broader conspiracy of voter registration fraud.”

“The number of allegations in a multitude of locations would seem to suggest something more than the isolated acts of ‘a few bad apples,’ ” the lawmakers wrote Tuesday to U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.”

More from NBC

“The request comes five days after Pinpoint contractor Colin Small, 31, was arrested and charged with 13 felony and misdemeanor counts of voter registration fraud. Sheriff’s deputies in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley say Small tossed voter registration forms into a trash bin in Rockingham County.

Pinpoint was contracted by Virginia’s Republican Party to register voters.

Its parent company, Strategic Allied Consulting, is under investigation  in Florida for more than 200 allegations of voter registration fraud.”

Sounds serious, I hope they’re punished if there’s proof. Regardless of party affiliation.

Which brings us to the next one, where there’s actually video.

Yes, he did it again. James O’Keefe strikes again.

But what makes this even more interesting is the person in question is none other than the son, and campaign worker/member of Rep Jim Moran. Yes, the son of one of the man crying vote fraud on the other side is helping educate people how to commit vote fraud. Needless to say, he’s now officially resigned.

Someone’s projecting. And note that some of the footage takes place in the Obama’s Organizing for America local office.

Language Warning! if you watch the video.

From O’Keefe’s ProjectVeritas

“Project Veritas has released a new investigation that exposes Representative Jim Moran’s Field Director, Patrick Moran, conspiring to commit election fraud.

When approached by an undercover investigator for advice on how to steal the votes of more than 100 people, Moran advised falsifying documents to satisfy Virginia’s new voter ID law. He said, “Bank statement obviously would be tough, but they can fake a utility bill with ease.”

Moran went on to clarify that, “You’d have to forge it.””

And more attempts at voter intimidation in Florida.

From NBC

“The FBI and U.S. Postal Service agents are investigating bogus official-looking letters sent to voters in at least 28 Florida counties questioning their citizenship and their eligibility to vote,  NBC News has learned.”

“It’s not clear who sent the letters, which were machine postmarked in Seattle. Couvertier said the FBI in Tampa is working with its Seattle office to track down the perpetrator.

Cate said a “significant majority have gone to Republican voters, but not exclusively. We’ve got Democrats who received the letters, we’ve got independents. We’re telling everybody to be on the lookout.”

What’s news today?

How about this?

The unhealthy alliance between the Obama admin and Muslim radicals continues to drive policy.

Fox, hen house

From Breitbart

“Over the last several years, the presence of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) operatives working inside the federal government advising our senior leaders has been definitively documented (see articles here , here and here).  This penetration of our system is shocking and constitutes an immediate danger for American citizens.  The success of the MB’s influence operation from within our government is now manifesting itself with national and global implications for the security of America and its citizens.”

“How was Imam Magid vetted to speak at CIA Headquarters?  And who vetted him?

The ADAMS Center is a Muslim Brotherhood front organization.  It was founded by some of the most senior Muslim Brothers in the United States, to include Ahmed Totanji, who still resides in Herndon, Virginia.  Its website proclaims “[ADAMS] is a membership organization registered in the State of Virginia as a non-profit, tax exempt corporation and is affiliated with the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA).”

Imam Magid is the Executive Director of the ADAMS Center.  He is also the President of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the largest Muslim Brotherhood organization in the U.S. which was found to be a financial support entity for Hamas in the largest terrorism financing and Hamas trial in U.S. history (US v Holy Land Foundation, Dallas, 2008).  Having Magid advise and teach U.S. intelligence and law enforcement officials can only be aptly described as insane.  According to officials at Langley who were willing to speak on the condition of anonymity, this is an outrage – but none of the leaders on the inside seem to understand the gravity of this threat.  To say the fox is in the hen house would be an understatement.”

And that’s not all.

From TheBlaze

“Is the man the Obama administration appointed on October 4 as key investigator for the terror attacks in Benghazi an Islamist-sympathizer? According to recently published reports, the new chairman of a State Department’s “Accountability Review Board,” which is heading the federal investigation into the Benghazi terror attacks, has been accused of being an “apologist for Islamic terrorism who has a cozy relationship with Iran.”

What’s more, the man in question — former Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering — has documented ties with the controversial group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR, of course, is a documented Muslim Brotherhood affiliate and was named unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial — the largest terror-funding trial in U.S. history.

To make matters worse, Pickering is also co-chairman of the board of George Soros’ International Crisis Group who has ties to other Islamic organizations as well, including the National Iranian American Council (NIAC), which has been described as pro-Iran “front group.”

And yes, there’s more. Much more.

This has a very comprehensive listing of the ties, with lots of links.

From TheInvestigativeProject

“A year-long investigation by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT) has found that scores of known radical Islamists made hundreds of visits to the Obama White House, meeting with top administration officials.”

“Court documents and other records have identified many of these visitors as belonging to groups serving as fronts for the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and other Islamic militant organizations.

The IPT made the discovery combing through millions of White House visitor log entries. IPT compared the visitors’ names with lists of known radical Islamists.”

And now it’s easy to see the reason Obama’s MidEast policy seems to favor radicals over Israel.

Oh, and not weeks, not days, but 2 hours. That’s how long it took for the Obama admin to know it was a terrorist attack in Benghazi. Just further proof they lied. 300-400 people in the admin received the email, including the WH.

From Reuters

“Officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after attackers assaulted the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11 that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit for the attack, official emails show.”

What’s news?

How ’bout the, despite their claims, never tolerant left? They’ve been busy.

First, from TheWeeklyStandard a few days ago.

“Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts has banned a Christian group from campus because the group requires student leaders to adhere to “basic biblical truths of Christianity.” The decision to ban the group, called the Tufts Christian Fellowship, was made by officials from the university’s student government, specifically the Tufts Community Union Judiciary.

The ban means the group “will lose the right to use the Tufts name in its title or at any activities, schedule events or reserve university space through the Office for Campus Life,” according to the Tufts Daily. Additionally, Tufts Christian Fellowship will be unable to receive money from a pool that students are required to pay into and that is specifically set aside for student groups.”

Also, a new book is coming out on the intolerance on college campuses.

From TheWashingtonFreeBeacon

““On college campuses today, students are punished for everything from mild satire, to writing politically incorrect short stories, to having the ‘wrong’ opinion on virtually every hot button issue, and, increasingly, simply for criticizing the college administration,” writes Greg Lukianoff, the president of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), in Unlearning Liberty: Campus Censorship and the End of American Debate.”

“Lukianoff emphasized that he is a liberal atheist, and that he has spent much of his time defending individuals and groups with whom he disagrees. Had anyone told him that he would have spent as much time defending evangelical Christians as he has, he said, he would have called it “conservative propaganda.”

“Given my experience, however, I was not at all surprised when a 2007 study of attitudes about religion among faculty performed by the Institute for Jewish and Community Research showed that evangelical Christians were the only group that a majority of faculty were comfortable to admit evoked strong negative feelings in them,” Lukianoff writes.”

Some of these instances are just downright stupid. Like this.

From CampusReform.Org

“The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill has removed the word “freshman” from official university documents, citing as their reason an attempt to adopt more “gender inclusive language.”

We are “committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of our community,” reads a statement administrators sent to Campus Reform on Monday.

“Consistent with that commitment, gender inclusive terms (chair; first year student; upper-level student, etc.) should be used on University Documents, websites and policies,” it continues.”

🙄

But hey, at least they give you free pizza and a t-shirt, if you vote for Obama.

From DenverCBSLocal

“Colorado state law says campaigners have to be 100 feet from a polling place, but there is some grey area, especially when a polling place is inside a large public building like CSU’s Lory Student Center.”

““They were essentially offering students and passers-by t-shirts and campaign t-shirts with the impression, very clearly, that you had to go vote first, and if you voted, then they would give you free t-shirts and free pizza,” Call said.”

““This is a hypocritical charge … the party that has spent over half a million dollars on a firm accused of voter fraud across the country should join us in encouraging people to vote instead of making frivolous complaints,” the statement said.”

Here’s what the Dem Party official was referring to.

From TheHill

“Several Virginia Democrats have asked the Justice Department to investigate allegations of voter fraud surrounding a GOP firm working in the Old Dominion and other battleground states.

Reps. Jim Moran, Bobby Scott and Jerry Connolly say recent allegations of registration fraud by Strategic Allied Consulting in Florida — combined with last week’s voter-fraud arrest of a Republican operative linked to the firm in Virginia — merit a federal probe to determine if the episodes “are connected and constitute a broader conspiracy of voter registration fraud.”

And lastly from the intolerant left, the reason Twitter is a bad idea.

BIG ‘OL FAT CONTENT WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it’s so bad, I won’t show them here, but it involves threats to assassinate Romney and riots if Obama loses.

From Michelle Malkin’s Twitchy site, where your stupid tweets live on even after you delete them.

Embrace the tolerance folks, and the newer, more civil tone.

News/Politics 10-23-12

What’s news to you?

The debate is of course.

OK Mr. President, let’s check the record.

From WeaselZippers

During the debate Obama demanded we “check the record” to prove Romney never said in his NY Times op-ed that the government should provide guarantees for the automakers post-bankruptcy financing. Shockingly, that’s exactly what Romney did say.”

“Via Mitt Romney’s 2008 NYT op-ed:

The federal government should provide guarantees for post-bankruptcy financing and assure car buyers that their warranties are not at risk.

Oh, sorry Mr. President, you’re wrong again. Smug, condescending, and wrong. That about sums it up.

But as usual, I only say that because I’m racist.

🙄

From NewsBusters

“CHRIS MATTHEWS: I think they’re more political than either you or I – I think  they hate Obama. They want him out of the White House more than they want to  destroy al Qaeda. Their number one enemy in the world right now, on the right,  is their hatred – hatred for Obama. We can go into that about the white working  class in the south and looking at these numbers we’re getting about racial  hatred in many cases. This isn’t about being a better president. They want to  get rid of this president. That’s their number one goal and they’re willing to  let Romney go to the hard center, even if it’s to the left on issues, as long as  they get rid of this guy. Romney went in there tonight with sixteen ounce  gloves.  He didn’t want to look too ferocious he just wanted to win and the  way he wanted to win was not make himself into the right-winger that the right  wing that’s supporting him really are.”

How original Chris, no wonder you have such high ratings. Oh wait, you don’t.

And here’s an update on the conversation about the UN election observers.

From YellowHammerPolitics

“In response to news that poll watchers affiliated with the United Nations will be sent across the country to monitor balloting in various states and search for evidence of “voter suppression” during the upcoming November 6 presidential election, Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard said he will support legislation in the next session requiring all poll watchers in Alabama to hold U.S. citizenship.

“The United States is the worldwide beacon of free elections and the Republican form of government, so having an international squad from the United Nations playing referee in our elections is insulting and absurd,” Hubbard said.  “We’ve been holding elections in the U.S. for the past 223 years without the United Nations playing a role or enforcing the rules, and we certainly don’t want or need them now.””

Kudos to Alabama!

News/Politics 10-22-12

What’s news today folks?

Obama has picked up 3 much sought after endorsements.

Oh wait, maybe not.

From the WashingtonTimes

“The latest [dictator] to publicly announce his support for the  commander-in-chief’s reelection bid was Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez, who this week  assured he’d vote for Obama if he were from the United States. The  America-bashing strongman made the announcement on state-owned television,  saying “Obama is a good guy” and that if Obama was from Caracas, he’d surely  return the favor by voting for Chavez.”

Chavez joins Raul Castro and Putin as Obama backers. He’s pretty popular with dictators right now. And isn’t it nice that they too can contribute to his campaign, what with his intentionally lax security measures?

From the NYPost

“The Obama re-election campaign has accepted at least one foreign donation in violation of the law — and does nothing to check on the provenance of millions of dollars in other contributions, a watchdog group alleges.

Chris Walker, a British citizen who lives outside London, told The Post he was able to make two $5 donations to President Obama’s campaign this month through its Web site while a similar attempt to give Mitt Romney cash was rejected. It is illegal to knowingly solicit or accept money from foreign citizens.”

And more from the DailyCaller here

“A soon to be released report from the conservative Government Accountability  Institute shows that President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign has  increasingly collected more electronic donations from non-existent ZIP codes  throughout the 2012 campaign cycle.

From February through June this year the GAI findings reported that the Obama  campaign collected $175,816.26 in electronic donations from non-existent ZIP  codes. One month later, the campaign raised $411,369.55 through such donations  and $197,464.59 in August.

By the end of September, the Obama campaign raked in $2,199,204.38 – thanks  to donations from non-existent ZIP codes.”

And while we’re on the subject of fraud…….

From the HeritageFoundation

“It is no secret that President Obama’s and green-energy supporters’ (from both parties) foray into venture capitalism has not gone well. But the extent of its failure has been largely ignored by the press. Sure, single instances garner attention as they happen, but they ignore past failures in order to make it seem like a rare case.”

“So far, 36 companies that were offered federal support from taxpayers are faltering — either having gone bankrupt or laying off workers or heading for bankruptcy. This list includes only those companies that received federal money from the Obama Administration’s Department of Energy and other agencies. The amount of money indicated does not reflect how much was actually received or spent but how much was offered. The amount also does not include other state, local, and federal tax credits and subsidies, which push the amount of money these companies have received from taxpayers even higher.”

But hey, what’s 8 Billion outta 80 Billion to pay off donors?  Nothing to get excited about. Move along.

🙄

Oh, and one last thing, about those UN election monitors who will be “just watching”.

From the DailyCaller

“The United Nations-affiliated Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe will deploy election monitors around the United States  on Election Day in an effort to monitor conservative groups for voter  suppression or intimidation at polling places.

Led by Ambassador Daan Everts, the election monitors will include a total of  57 international experts and observers — 13 placed in Washington, D.C. and 44  placed at polling places on other cities.

The monitors, from Europe and central Asia, will not limit their  observation to noting possible violations of U.S. and sate election law. They  will also “assess these elections for compliance with international obligations and standards for democratic  election” and “conduct comprehensive monitoring of the media,” according to a press release.”

Seems like a lot more than the usual watching to me. And when the NAACP and ACLU are involved, it’s doubly suspect.

What’s news today?

The mother of the US Ambassador killed in Benghazi has spoken out on the President’s stupid comment.

From the DailyMail

“The mother of an American diplomat killed  during a terrorist raid on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi has hit out at Barack  Obama for describing the attack as ‘not optimal’, saying: ‘My son is not very  optimal – he is also very dead.’

During an interview shown on Comedy Central,  Obama responded to a question about his administration’s confused communication  after the assault by saying: ‘If four Americans get killed, it’s not  optimal.’

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline today, Pat  Smith, whose son Sean died in the raid, said: ‘It was a disrespectful thing to  say and I don’t think it’s right.

And just like with the attack on the embassy, the Obama admin refuses to state the obvious in the Ft. Hood shooting. He just can’t seem to point out terrorism when it shows it’s face.

From Military.com

“Nearly three years after the shooting rampage at Fort Hood, many of those affected are urging the U.S. government to declare it a terrorist attack, saying wounded soldiers and victims’ relatives otherwise won’t receive the same benefits as those in a combat zone.

A video expressing their frustration was released Thursday by a group of about 160 people, including relatives of the 13 people killed at the Texas Army post and some of the more than two dozen wounded and their families.”

“Because the defense secretary has not declared it a terrorist attack, the soldiers injured or killed have not received certain benefits and are not eligible for the Purple Heart, said John Stone, a spokesman for U.S. Rep. John Carter. The Texas Republican has sponsored a bill that would make those provisions available for the Fort Hood victims.”

And speaking of terrorists…….

From RealClearPolitics

That’s strange. Didn’t he have both the Senate and House held by his party for 2 years? I guess with jamming Obamacare down our throats, they were simply too busy.

What’s news today?

How about this?

It seems Obama has a new campaign meme. He don’t need no stinkin’ binders!, or something.

From Breitbart

“Obama said on Tuesday at campaign events in Iowa and Ohio, “I’ve got to tell you, we don’t have to collect a bunch of binders to find qualified, talented, driven young women, ready to learn and teach in these fields right now.”

Obama was referring to comments Mitt Romney made during the second presidential debate when Romney said he actively sought and recruited qualified women for high-level positions and in the recruiting process he would wind up with “binders full of women.””

Read more here

Seems he’s using this meme at all his stops now. But if he doesn’t need binders, what’s he gonna do with the ones he already has?  Like this one one he picked up in 2009.

From the ChicagoTribune

“In a bid to get more Muslim Americans working in the Obama administration, a book with resumes of 45 of the nation’s most qualified — Ivy League grads, Fortune 500 executives and public servants, all carefully vetted — has been submitted to the White House.

The effort, driven by community leaders and others, including Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.), was bumped up two weeks ahead of schedule because White House officials heard about the venture, said J. Saleh Williams, program coordinator for the Congressional Muslim Staffers Association who sifted through more than 300 names.”

Maybe he means he doesn’t need them anymore.

And the irony is strong on this one. I wonder if Obama will blame the video in this case should violence ensue?

I got 10 bucks says no.

From the DailyMail

“The National Geographic Channel’s Washington,  DC headquarters has increased security after being inundated with terror threats  over the upcoming release of the film Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin  Laden, according to a source.

The full-length feature film is the first  dramatization of the U.S. special forces operation that killed the mastermind of  the September 11 attacks in Pakistan last May.

According to a New York  Post source, the channel has been bombarded with  phone calls and blogs posts from ‘Muslim extremist groups’ warning that anyone  airing a film like this is asking for trouble.”

And lastly, told you so. That job numbers rebound last week minus one big state?

Uh, yeah….., about that……….

From CNBC

“Weekly applications for U.S. unemployment benefits jumped 46,000 last week to a seasonally adjusted 388,000, the highest in four months. The increase represents a rebound from the previous week’s sharp drop. Both swings were largely due to
technical factors.”

“Last week, California reported a large drop in applications, pushing down the overall figure to the lowest since February 2008.

This week, it reported a significant increase as it processed applications delayed from the previous week.”

Read more here

As usual, ZeroHedge doesn’t buy it.

“So much for last week’s aberration initial claims print of 339K (revised higher of course to 342K). With expectations of an increase to 365K, the DOL just came out with a whopper of a miss, the largest in three months, at 388K, an increase of 46K in one week, which was also the highest print in three months. Remember: this number will be revised to 391K next week. So much for single print indicative of a recovery. As the chart below shows, the rate of change was a 13.45% from last week: the highest in five years! So far, there has been no explanation from the BLS or DOL for last week’s outlier print. And no, last week’s print was not due to  California, which the DOL reported just decreased by 4,979 in the week ended Oct 6, not the required 49K. What is however worse, is that it is becoming increasingly clear that nobody at the DOL knows what is actually going on following a statement by the Labor Dept that “it appeared that state-level administrative issues were distorting the data“, and numbers are simply picked out of thin air.”

What’s news today?

How about this?

More debate lies from Obama. And yes, he knows it’s false, so that’s a lie.

Post Racial President? Uh, no.

From USNews

“Four years after Barack Obama was elected president, this is not exactly a “post-racial” America.

A new study from Washington University in St. Louis finds that under Obama, many black Americans feel less free than whites when it comes to political participation.”

The study found that while the election of Obama initially boosted feelings  of political empowerment among black Americans, those sentiments  significantly faded in the years that followed—especially among  conservative and religious blacks.”

What’s news today?

The debate is the obvious choice.

I thought Pres. Obama did better, but I give the edge to Romney. He hammered the President on the economy and Benghazi. The President didn’t have a response really, and how could he when both were such obvious failures. The discussion on energy policy was much the same.

I thought the moderator did OK, until she lied trying to defend Obama on Benghazi. That kinda killed her credibility at that point.

From CommentaryMag

“Now that the Obama administration’s initial narrative that the Benghazi assault was a spontaneous response to an anti-Islam film has collapsed, the new spin from the White House is that President Obama has actually called it a terrorist attack all along.”

“Obama said during the speech that “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation” — but at no point was it clear that he was using that term to describe the attack in Benghazi. He’d also spent the previous two paragraphs discussing the 9/11 attacks and the aftermath. “Acts of terror” could have just as easily been a reference to that. Or maybe it wasn’t a direct reference to anything, just a generic, reassuring line he’d added into a speech which did take place, after all, the day after the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.”

The claims to the contrary by the moderator are revisionist history at best, or a lie.

Also Romney did a good job of pointing out Obama’s priorities after the attack.
