Good Morning!

What’s on your mind today?

Quote of the Day

“You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”

C. S. Lewis

Anybody have a QoD?

Good Morning!

What shall we talk about today?

Quote of the Day

“Power always thinks it has a great soul and vast views beyond the comprehension of the weak; and that it is doing God’s service when it is violating all His laws.”

John Adams

QoD – 2 parts.

Did you get a flu shot?

Did you get the flu?

I’m posting this early because my answers are No and Yes. The NyQuil should kick in soon, and I plan to sleep in a little later than usual. I hope.

Good Morning!

What’s on your mind today?

Quote of the Day

“Liberty  is not a means to a higher political end. It is itself the highest political end.”

Lord  Acton

Does anyone have a QoD?

Good Morning!

What’s on your mind today?

Quote of the Day

“All  political thinking for years past has been vitiated in the same way. People can  foresee the future only when it coincides with their own wishes, and the most  grossly obvious facts can be ignored when they are unwelcome.”

George  Orwell

Good Morning!

What shall we talk about today?

Quote of the Day

“Courage is contagious. When a brave man takes a stand, the spines of others are often  stiffened.”

Billy  Graham

Good Morning!

Happy Saturday!

What should we talk about today?

Quote of the Day

“The voice of the people has been said to be the voice of God; and, however generally this maxim has been quoted and believed, it is not true to fact. The people are turbulent and changing, they seldom judge or determine right.”

Alexander  Hamilton

Good Morning!

So what do you think?

I have some others that I may try in the coming days, so you can tell me what you think.

Or I could do a poll!

OK, fine, I won’t. But I could.

Quote of the Day

“I like to listen. I have learned a great deal from listening carefully. Most people never listen.”

Ernest  Hemingway

Good Morning!

Over the next few days some things will change around here. I’ll be trying some new things and seeing how it looks. Things like comment numbers may be lost briefly. I’ll try to cause as little disruption as possible. But I am a man after all, so I am prone to just pushing buttons to see what happens. Don’t worry, I didn’t see any shiny red ones that said “do not push” or  “self-destruct” or anything yet, so you should be OK.

😉

Who has a Question of the Day?

Good morning!

What should we talk about today?

Quote of the Day

“The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to  remain children all our lives.”

Albert Einstein
