Good morning. AJ, I understand your frustration. I find computer dealings are one of my most stressful things these days. I am meeting later today with one of my daughters to pick out and buy a new computer, in fact. This one is, sadly, too old for some things I need it for.
Also, my SIL helped get a whole lot of pine needles off the roof and, more importantly, off the covered rain gutters. He used a leaf blower for some but had to use a broom for some more stubborn areas. I have to admit that leaf blower was very nice to use on the deck. I do believe I have been converted into someone who would like to own one.
Cherl, so sorry to hear about your vertigo attack. Those interfere with our plans too often also. I hope you can celebrate out sometime soon.
Praying you all have a productive and peace filled day.
I picked up a used leaf blower on the sidewalk one day and I’ve been surprised at how much I like it. (Shhh! Don’t tell a younger me!)
Our yard isn’t very big, but it saves time, everything looks great, and then I’m done.
We share around the family–just as we do the grass edger, the compost mill, and a handful of other tools. Five family members in five homes. A blessing.
Amazon is something most people rely on these days but it can be tricky if you have any issues. They often change the delivery schedule between when I order and at checkout. It really feels like bait and switch. I also had a credit card hacked while trying to redeem Kindle credits I had earned as rewards. That really messed us up for a bit. I don’t redeem anything with them now.
You should consider one Janice. They have some nice lightweight, battery powered ones that work well. You still get your outside raking time in, it’s just physically easier on you.

Time flies by. I guess I haven’t been here since last Friday. And here it is Friday again. So, happy reading!

Yeah it’s frustrating at times to be sure, KKathleen.
I told the lady at Amazon that it might be good to make their emails sound less scammy.
Also, don’t make it so difficult to sort out.
I imagine there is a large amount of older folks who end up scammed because of how frustrating they make getting answers.

Morning! A beautiful sunrise in the forest and little sweetie fox is curled up beneath the pine taking a nap! Such beauty our Lord has created!
Taking a dear friend to Elizabeth today. Time to drive the dirt roads and shake out the cobwebs!

I have been sweeping leaves twice a day. Perhaps a noisy leaf blower will become my friend one day. Are they battery powered?

Yes, you can get battery powered ones, Janice.
