I thought the HOA meeting was this morning but the parking lot was empty! It’s NEXT Saturday! Soooo I stopped at two neighbors yard sales. A wonderful time of connecting with neighbors … I do believe the Lord planned it for just a time as this!
I bought a fishing pole for Paul…brand new and he loves it. The neighbor is a geologist and for a time his job was to go fishing and test the fish caught in certain areas. He loved that job but not a long term need…it didn’t last long enough for him!
I then went to the neighbors next to them and purchased a Proverbs 31 crossstitch the wife had created. And a small office size treadmill😊
It is a perfect Fall day here and I got to open windows for fresh autumn air…
Hello. I was happy to be able to get out to rake some leaves into piles. It was in the upper fifties and windy, but I had to take off my jacket and do it in short sleeves. I have a friend who said she has always felt like she is missing something after she moved to an apartment building. She thought it was the physical labor she used to do outdoors. It is funny what we may miss after we can no longer do it.
Going through customs in sfo was very strange. No formsto fill out. No questions asked. We didn’t even show our passport. Just one at a time a machine took our picture that’s it
Janice that sounds exhausting… hoping for a restful Sunday to be found for you and Art❣️
Church then pot blessing afterward. Slowly breaking out of my comfort zone…
Kathaleena that is something my Mom misses at 96. Being physically unable to do things she once enjoyed. I told her next time I come home I will take her square dancing!
Some residents of assisted living really do miss dancing. Sometimes the aides or visitors will dance with them. Then there are the ones who are so relieved to not dance or do those chores. 🙂
We had a guest preacher, who we have had before. He had a wonderful sermon on Joshua being ready (or not) to take over for Moses. One of the best I have heard for a very long time.
Hello….?

We worked at the other house today. Came home and shopped at Publix. I am so tired and have a leg ache from carrying so many bags of trash to the car.

Maybe we should get some of those programs and headgear that make us older folks do things in virtual reality. Square dancing in the den 🙂
