They finally released info on the accident victim who fell from the roller coaster at Six Flags. He was a 42 y/o teacher who had a stepdaughter. So.Very.Sad.
Many people have been traumatized by the event, especially those who had to take the stairs down from up so high, and those who were in line for the next ride and saw it, and those who had been on it in the group before. It was a school holiday (teacher’s workday, never call it Columbus Day), so many were there from schools.
I changed out my air purifier filters today. Whew! What a lot of dust was found in them. The furnace filter is supposed to be an extra special, more costly, one but it needs help.
Good Morning! 42 degrees here with a high of 44…snow tonight and tomorrow! I did cut some lavender, cosmos and heirloom marigolds from my wildflower garden..the deer were lurking as I went out there with my garden scissors!
I have steam cleaned my kitchen sink, refrigerator and stove/oven…it is amazing how that steam cleans parts you thought you cleaned thoroughly already! Kind of like using a WaterPik on your teeth!!!
Off I go to the bathrooms with my handy dandy steamer!!
Steamify…a hand held steamer. A friend who professionally cleans homes says a hand steamer is essential..so I purchased one and totally agree. Bathrooms are shining and I’m exhausted. I use the steamer on baseboards as well…just wipe with a micro fiber cloth and all clean!
Fog is moving in and it didn’t get up to 44. Good day to stay home. Husband is now on top of Mt Whitney…he sent a couple photos…stunning beauty our Lord has created…
I made hash browns tonight. They smell so good. That will be a treat for Art on this night before tax deadline day.
I spoke with the lady preparer in his office who told me that Art needs to watch the news tonight. IRS has caught some illegals who scammed IRS out of 74M.
Oh my favorite comfort food…hash browns! I put peppers onions and cheese in mine!
Yes Kathaleena I have been perplexed by the steam cleaners for wood floors.. doesn’t sound like a good idea! I have an attachment brush that fits the tops of baseboards…no steam hits the floors. But the steamer works great on the bathroom tile 😊

That is so sad, Janice, and must have been so traumatic for those who were there.
We have had a few days of cooler than average. I am still enjoying the leaves. I still have flowers blooming, too.

We just learned a year ago about using a steamer instead of the iron to get wrinkles out of clothes. We are so far behind on the gadgets!

Be careful with that steamer on certain floors. I found that out the hard way.
