Good morning, good friends. It’s a great day for new kitties.
The weather is cooler and as I sat outside for a few peaceful moments I thought it is time for pumpkin spice flavored treats.
Later as I was seeing Art off to work, I looked over and saw a Pumpkin in the window! Looking a big longer and well cared for so that was a welcome sight.
Casting my burdens on the Lord knowing He will sustain me and He cares for me. Jesus is my Brother who helps me in my times of need as I plow ahead in the rocky soil of what my earthly brother has burdened me with for the foreseeable future.
Monday?! I had a hair appt this morning and ran a couple errands beforehand since I had to be in town. New shorter hair feels so good! Tomorrow morning I have an eye appt…I think I’ll get a new prescription as my arms pull further away from me as I read!! And I find myself squinting and blinking as well…oh the joy!!
Thankful little miss Pumpkin showed up once again and is being taken care of while she is missing from her visits. She is the most pretty black kitty…she reminds me of our childhood cat Kitty Tom. My sister drug him home from the neighborhood park and no one claimed him so he became ours…he was much loved!
Praying as you muddle through brother’s things Janice. In hopes your can take baby steps sorting through and there is no deadline in getting it all squared away. And continuing to pray for W as well that he feels better and stronger as this school year gets off and running!
I’m listening to instrumental Christmas music on the echo device…it’s soothing and makes me smile! 123 days until Christmas!!
Ugh! My hair stylist recently retired, and I am way overdue for a cut. It’s so difficult to try someone new after going to this woman for years. She had a studio in her home.
Oh I totally understand Kathaleena. I haven’t had a good cut in a couple of years trying to find someone. My dear friend shared her hair gal’s information with me and today was my first time with her. She is amazing. The downside is that she has been doing this for forty eight years and was going to retire,,,until her business picked up so much that she couldn’t refuse the income! Her number has been shared with all of my friends and friends of friends and she is finding herself totally booked up. The standing up for hours is difficult for her now but with the increase in clientele she can schedule at her convenience. I just know she’ll retire before I want her to!!
So now I’m recalling Chas saying “what’s all the fuss about” whenever we would discuss hair on this blog!!
I’m mostly home today and so proud of myself for making those phone calls. Called my car insurance and paid the next six months. Called about getting a new whole house fan and now waiting for the fellow to come by so we can decide what to do.
Texted my grandaughter who is just back from Europe. She was in Spain and heard about the camino d real sorry don’t know the official name. So she decided to walk it alone. AT the end she was doing 25 miles a day. Home and looking very fit. I realized that she looked very thin so texted her to come get whatever food she would like. Shopping at Grandmas. She is working but a paycheck can take awhile. So she is coming by after work Also giving her an instapot that is brand new and I don’t want.
Even called an old renter to come get mail her daughter got here yesterday and she came.
You have to realize that these are the sort of things that I can not do for months.

That’s always a great reminder to consider what we may be burdening others with. So grateful we have the Lord to help us.

I will be like Mumsee, and talk to myself except for the one comment by Kathaleena.
We need kitty news!

Spent all day assembling the cat condo. 🐈🐈⬛
Everything is done, cat beds, new food and water bowls and litter box are in.
Now all I need are some kitties.
We will address that tomorrow, hopefully.
