I called my 98 year old friend and she is doing well. Even led a caregiver to the Lord.
It may be cool here compared to some of you, but not to me. We had a rain shower just when I got up and that helped. It will still be in the eighties, however, later.
it’s 85° at noon with lower humidity and some breeze so pleasant today so far. Tomorrow we may get more big rains.
I found more things brought home from a rehab yesterday. Trips to Goodwill are daily.
My friend in CA just got a new dog from foster care. I am so happy for her and her husband. The dog was spayed only a week ago so must not be allowed too much activity. It seems a big odd to adopt out a dog in recovery from surgery. The wire haired terrier mix has already on the first day been in my friends lap. What a great beginning. Her dog died not long after Miss Bosley died a year ago.
We had a wonderful downpour of rain today! Two dear friends wanted to experience my favorite town of Elizabeth so off we went! Browsing my favorite small shoppes and then lunch. They both now have a favorite escape from traffic and chaos…and I was blessed to be their guide!
