  1. Morning! Oh what a lovely photo up there! I was hoping to see a cardinal while I was back east but alas it was not to be!

We had a lovely storm move through yesterday and will have even more today. Hoping it holds off until after I’ve gone to pick up daughter at DIA..no fun driving on flooded Denver roads…no fun driving Denver roads ever!

going to try and walk this morning and pool tonight

the moon over the pool last night as it got dark was simply glorious

  3. That’s our local screaming banshee, Mr. Cardinal. Wakes me every morning, ’round about 530am, from the neighbors tree across the street. That’s him in the other neighbors cherry blossom tree.

    Beautiful, yet extremely loud.

  4. Cardinals are special. I have not seen one here in a long time. Blue jays are rare and we’re very common when I was young. We have loud mockingbird and crows, many crows. Also have hawks and owls.

We are having a drier week with horrible heat, feeling like 105° today.

Son took me to the farmer’s market so I have been cooking today. I may try to make cole slaw later. We need cool foods in the weather.
