called my widow friend from Trader Joe’s and got some things for her. But then she had camping chairs and bibles for me. Almost too much after such a long day
It is another beautiful day here, particularly if you are at a cabin or lake. We drove around a fire crew putting out a small fire close to a house. I assume it was one of the owners who sat down on the grass under a tree for some shade while watching the action.
People can be foolish and throw out cigarette butts. I am not sure how it started, but I do wonder where people who smoke in their cars dispose of those, since no cars have ashtrays anymore that I know of.
There was a larger fire, too, but it was under control, thankfully. We will get rain on late Wednesday, according to the weather people.
Cloudy morning with a slight thunderstorm predicted for this evening. We had rain yesterday but dodge the humongous hail that pummeled Denver!
When we walk the county road bordering our community we see way too many cigarette butts on the side of the road. I know we are rural ranch designated but I just hold my breath at the implications. One dry blade of grass and we have a problem!
Hoping your day is not as hectic Jo and the guys get there to capture those critters!
I read the summation of my visit to the doctor yesterday. In her notes she did document her observations of my mental state and behavior!
Noting it in reference to that new Medicare form…sheesh
Good evening. We spent a lot of time at the hospital today. A surgery will happen to.orrow and day after discharge (as usual, too soon). I and all of us are feeling way too much stress.
I made a pot of chicken and vegetable soup for tonight. We need it!
Son got our grass mowed today. Good thing with all the rain we’ve had. This evening it feels like a cold front is moving through.
Those lilies changed color in the photo. They have more yellow in them. And someone said “Tiger lilies”. I thought they have stripes in them, these do not.
