kathleena – When I get a census form I only fill out how many people live at this address. That’s all the Constitution requires. You must have gotten one from your state as the Federal census is only every ten years. The next one is 2030, unless they’re doing a special census in your area.
We have been going through what feels like a meat grinder in trying to take care of Bro’s needs. I keep learning things but the price for this type education is greater than the cost of a college education. Actually, this is as priceless as life.
Growing old is not for sissies, as the saying goes. Ignorance is bliss is also what I think when I learn so much in our elder years.
The census is from the federal government. It is a test run. I assume to find out if people will do it online, although I could be wrong. I have a friend who winters down south who said she did receive the two letters referring to going online. She did not do so, since that is her main home place. She hasn’t received the next form, apparently.
I decided to escape to the dirt roads today. Nice seeing old friends and escaping crowds. I didn’t stay as long as I hoped. Clouds grew black with claps of thunder so I tried to out run the hail… and I did!
The ranch across the road is having sheep trials with amazing border collies doing the herding. They were rained out for a bit. Poor sheep all huddled together as the rain poured. I hope to catch some of the herding fun this weekend.
I have my Medicare physical
Monday morning and hope for just the run of the mill results. My legs are feeling much better so I won’t be mentioning that to the doc!
I hope to not get one of those government forms Kathaleena… my rebellious streak could wind me up in jail for not answering their intrusive questions!
Now along with Word causing my post to go poof when I sign in, it will not allow me to copy it in case it disappears. I had to take a screenshot and copy/paste it!!😳
Yes we have had rain here too. The tallest weeds I have seen and they just keep growing.
For fire danger we are required to keep things below 4 inches and the deadline is in June. So glad that Clara got it all taken down today. She did the parts that I cannot. and liked my new weed eater.
It is such a delight to be a part of her life. We are simply in agreement in so many ways. and now she has a boyfriend and he is also delightful. I was a little worried about meeting him, but we are also of one heart and he has a sense of humor. And his family also does not understand him. God is giving me something new.
My sister wanted pictures as she is making an album for my stepmoms 95th birthday. Such fun to go through the old photo albums. She liked the pictures that I brought to her. I will let her do the scanning
