Morning! A foggy wet start to this day but how wonderful it was to breathe in moist air as I took the dogs out first thing this morning! Glorious!
The snow is now expected to fall in earnest around noon…wet heavy snow that will crush tender emerging plants! I believe them to be tough enough to make a comeback!
The birds are out pulling up worms from the wet ground, squirrels are gathering pine nuts from the fallen cones. A hobbled fox came by last night looking for a meal of mice or voles…or squirrels! And to our surprise a big ol’ tortoise shell cat showed up at the downstairs door! Where did he come from?! Oh the wonders of our Lord’s creation!

We have had snowflakes falling. The wind is blowing. I would love to just stay home. That is my plan, but the best laid plans…

35 degrees and falling . Vacillating between snow and mist. We went for a 3 mile walk enjoying breathing in moist air!!
This is coming in from the north and now wonder if you will see this in your area RK!
