  1. Morning! It’s the warm before the storm! I have rescheduled my next two days of appts and plan to stay inside! I know we desperately need the moisture but I’m getting tired of bringing my purchased to early flowers in and out of this house!!

  2. That is one reason I have not visited a greenhouse yet. The bad thing about that is that many plants will be picked over or gone by the time I get there. We had a beautiful weekend, but I know how busy greenhouses are on those days. (My parents had a greenhouse business.) For some reason I am not as motivated this spring.

It was so nice to visit with our best snowbird friend who is back for the summer. She is freezing, of course. Rain predicted here, as well, and wind. Does it seem like there is almost always a wind where you live? It sure seems like it here.

  3. I bought three trees on Saturday. Two dogwoods and a crepe myrtle. Someone has offered to plant them for me

my right leg is having problems. When walking the muscles give out briefly like a catch in your step. It was mostly in the thigh and then went to the ankle area. When I walk my mile I am stumbling but then it strengthens and I’m ok again

  4. Last night Isaac took Elizabeth to NYC for a movie premiere. Her favorite actor is Lewis Pullman, and he was in it.

She got to see him during the showing, but when it was over, he made her night. Year to be honest.

Whilst the crowd was surging away to see Sally Field, also in the movie, Elizabeth called out to Lewis Pullman.

He walked right over to her, they took some pics, she showed him his doll, which she made herself, and they had a nice conversation.

She has a lifetime memory now. Good job Isaac.

  5. Oh yay Isaac!!! And Elizabeth has been oh so blessed with memories for a lifetime as she and Isaac’s share these precious moments in their journey!!! So thankful you have the blessing of a SIL cherishing your girl!!

Jo I pray the leg gains function with no pain. At my age I start to wonder what’s happening to my body at times!! I purchased Aspercream with lidocaine today for my leg. Yesterday afternoon I kept a heating pad on it…I am hoping it will right itself with the Lords help!

Clouds are moving in but it is still in the 60’s…savoring each warm breeze with windows cracked open a bit!

  6. Funny how across the country we are doing the same things. I finished planting all of my nursery flowers this morning. We worked on the garden more.

Kathleena, I rejoiced with you on the fantastic news about your SIL and his new job.

it seems most of us are have some sort of health issue going on in our families. Miguel had another cardioversion last week to try to fix the A-fib. His mother is on hospice, and despite the fact that I have always thought she would outlive us all, she is failing. So thankful that we have assurance of salvation and eternity with Jesus.

  7. Thank you, rkessler.

Yes, once you are older, you seem to always have something, if not your own issue someone close to you. A woman at church yesterday was talking about that and how long her prayer list is. One person was a 29 yr. old who broke her back when a shed she and her husband were moving fell on her!

It is difficult to keep walking and moving when things hurt, but you can’t just stop unless it is impossible. Sometimes you need to make sure you have a cane or something just in case that leg gives out. That is better than not walking or falling.

  8. Oh, I was just on the elevator with one of the therapist who had been sitting while waiting on the elevator. She was spent after a day of work. She was commenting about getting older and all the changes. I do not know how some keep doing this heavy lifting work in Healthcare. One of the nurses said she got gel injections in both knees and her back.

The weather is very pleasant here. I sat out on the patio for a little bit and listened to Proverbs on Audible. Last night Bro watched the old John Wayne film, The Searchers. I slept through most of it.
