  1. My dad loved to be a provocateur. He could easily take one side or the other to provoke ‘discussion.’ Our president reminds me of him at times. Not saying this is necessarily a good thing for someone in such a vital office, but those who take every little word and blow it up in amazing ways, are just falling for it. I would call my dad out on his amazing take about something, and he would have to laugh at the absurdity himself. The two kings remark makes me think about it.

Breakpoint has a good article about the thinking of the would-be assassin that some of you may want to read.

The utter boldness of those stealing taxpayer money in MN (and doubtless elsewhere) is mind boggling.

  2. “The US is importing crude oil from Venezuela, and exporting diesel, gasoline and jet fuel to Europe.

With Venezuela no longer sending oil to China, it is mostly going to refineries in Texas and India. Then those refineries are shipping gasoline, diesel and jet fuel to desperate markets in Asia and Europe.

The new energy superpower is the USA. China’s discounted sources of oil from Venezuela and Iran have been cutoff.

The major beneficiary is the USA.”

  3. “NBC leaves so much out of this story

They leave the Congo,(because of the war), travel to Brazil and then use coyotes,(reportedly), to enter illegally in Arizona and then get moved to Maine…

There they got welfare and got an Asylum Hearing AND an Appeal in early 2025

When they lost both, they didn’t say ok, time to go, ICE had to get involved to remove them

So they traveled half way across the world through TONS of safe countries to make it to Portland Maine for the Welfare…

And now its being framed as some sob story”

  4. “I’m a black Republican who currently represents a majority-white district in the Ohio State House and is running to represent a majority-white district in Congress.

The idea that black Americans need special districts carved out just for them is complete nonsense. It’s a violation of the law and blatantly unconstitutional.

Glad the Supreme Court made the right decision.”

“BREAKING: In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court rules that racial gerrymandering, which has been used to create majority black congressional districts for decades, is unconstitutional. Justice Samuel Alito wrote the opinion for the majority.”

  5. So weird….

“The Supreme Court’s just said that you can’t gerrymander by race and all the people who claim not to be racist are really angry that they can’t be racist.”

“Ro, this is the district your “multiracial democracy” framing is defending…

The lower court found, and the Supreme Court agreed, that race was the #1 factor in drawing this INSANE district.

Nobody fears Black voters voting. The Court ruled on how districts are drawn, not who gets to vote in them.

If your civil rights argument requires the government to sort Americans by race, you might want to take a hard look in the mirror because that sounds pretty damn racist to me…”

  6. Let’s hope so.

“If nothing else, the Louisiana v. Callais decision demonstrates just how much Democrat Party power in America has become an artificial construct.

They gain power through counting illegals in the census, diluting election security rules, and forcing Red States to draw congressional districts solely on the basis of race.

They have no ability to argue their positions on the merits, so they’ve built these pillars of power to rig the game.

But now they’re slowly coming to an end.”

    “SHAME ON YOU!”

“You SIT THERE and go on TV for your CLICKBAIT about ‘quagmires.’ It undermines the mission!”

“I hope you appreciate how RECKLESS it is. When I said reckless, feckless, and defeatist of congressional Democrats at the beginning, that came after watching YOU say the same thing on CNN this morning, a quagmire!”

“My generation served in a quagmire in Iraq and Afghanistan, years and years of nebulous missions and utopian nation building that led us to nothing.”

“What we have right now, the way you STAIN THE TROOPS when you tell them 2 months in, 2 months in, congressman, you should know better, shame on you!”

“Calling this a quagmire two months in. The effort, what they’ve undertaken, what they’ve succeeded, the success on the battlefield that could create strategic opportunities, the courage of a president to confront a nuclear Iran, and you call it a quagmire, handing propaganda to our enemies, shame on you for that statement!”

“And statements like that are reckless to our troops.”

“Don’t say I support the troops on one hand, and then a two-month mission is a quagmire. That’s a false equivalation. Who are you cheering for here?!”

“Who are you pulling for? Our troops are doing incredible work.”
