  1. NJ, I am curious if you know whether or not the family with whooping cough cases were immunized against it. That must have been really difficult for the poor little one with asthma. My brother had it when he was two decades and decades ago. We have been blessed to be able to be immunized against many of these diseases.

  2. It was supposed to be an early dialysis but that has not turned into truth.

So many things, all under God’s ultimate control, that seem chaotic here on earth. He works it all for good in ways we can’t imagine for those who love him and are called according to His purposes. Trusting Him in this stormy season.

Thank you for your continuing prayers.

My friend has been in the hospital for a week. Finally got diagnosis of kidney stones. They thought maybe tick bite. I saw a story on TV about many early cases of tick bite illness in this vicinity. I guess they are quick to assume, but how long do people suffer under wrong diagnosis? Well, my brother is still suffering.

  3. Morning! Cooler out today and the rainstorms are headed our way. I was going to take a walk but chickened out…too cold and breezy and my knee is aching a bit after yesterday’s walk…

Dentist office called to schedule husband and I both for tomorrow morning…my permanent crown and then husbands cleaning they had cancelled twice…will be good to get them both out of the way…then perhaps breakfast out afterwards!

Kathaleena I’m not certain if they had the vaccine…the Mama is an RN specializing in OB and Pediatrics so I would think she would take those precautions for her babes…someone else at church had asked that question and I will ask Beth when she returns just for clarification. Is that one that must have a booster? I don’t think I’ve had a vaccine for such though…I should ask my doctor when I see her for my checkup soon.

  4. Oh Janice the frustration you all have endured! The field of medicine may have advanced but the field of medical care sure seems to have gone by the wayside in many instances. I pray they find a definitive course of action to help your brother…

We have had reports of more cases of ticks around here and how devastating tick bites can be. We have way too many deer and moose in our area with no action taken by our state of course. The division of wildlife just transported a cow moose back to the mountains after she had wandered into a heavily populated area in north Colorado Springs. Our bear hasn’t been back since last week but I’m not so sure they are a haven for ticks?
