She came to the United States as a refugee from Afghanistan more than twenty years ago. Since then, she has worked at Catholic Charities in their refugee resettlement department.
She is very proud of her work resettling Afghan refugees in Oklahoma, it gave Maleeha “the opportunity to serve those from her home country and help acclimate them in our society.”
Another Afghan Muslim, brought in as a refugee two decades ago, now works inside an officially Catholic organization, using its name, its crucifix, and your tax dollars to resettle wave after wave of her own people.
This is the exact same pattern taking place all across the country:
Catholic Charities hires the Muslim refugees they import because “they speak the language.” Those hires stay for decades, rise in the ranks, and turn
“faith-based” charities into Muslim import pipelines, all while the Catholic branding stays up for cover and funding.
Oklahoma joins Utah, North Carolina, Texas, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, and D.C. on the list.
This is conquest with a smile, an Afghan flag, and a Catholic logo.

However Hesgeth quoted a movie thinking it was a bible verse — even giving a book, chapter and verse. You’d think he’d check the reference before adding it to this speech. This allowed the Iran Lego videos to add Hesgeth: Drunken Sailor ditty to their channel; it ended with What do you do with a drunken sailor — put him in the brig and give him a bible.

My Lutheran friend is excited that Leo is an Augustinian scholar as most modern popes prefer Aquinas and Augustine was important to Martin Luther’s Reformation.
As for the lack of women in the church — a few years ago I posted an article on the divergence of young men and women in terms of church attendance. Part of it, as NJ points out, is the evangelical church response to sexual abuse and divorce. The other is the over-emphasis on a “traditional” or “militant” masculinity which has become an excuse for abuse and authoritarianism.
Quickly scanning the survey there’s a correlation between being Republican and attending church. The question then is what happened first, party identification or church. As more women identify as Democrat is that why they are less inclined to go to church. Or is it because they don’t go to church that they are inclined to vote Democrat — I’m sure it reinforces each other.
The high church attendance figures is surprising compared to the rest of the developed world. Even Canada is far lower.
Interestingly, its usually women who outnumber men in churches elsewhere whereas in the Muslim world men far outnumber women at the mosque. Is American Christianity similar in masculinity/patriarchy as Islam? A bit bizarre of a notion.
In Islamabad, Iran tied opening the straits to a general ceasefire that included Lebanon. Bibi of course refused and went on a genocidal bombing campaigning. Support for Israel in the west even in the US is dropping fast — the drop in support and probably words from the Trump admin and Bibi has agreed to the ceasefire. This was the first point in Iran’s ten points. A definite loss for Israel both militarily and diplomatically and a win for Iran as it uses the control of the strait to influence other parts of the middle east.
