  1. Ahh, Janice, enjoy those beautiful blooms. Thanks for sharing. I did think you probably mistook my brrr day reference. 😀

Snowing a bit here this morning with more to come. We are off this afternoon for a monthly birthday celebration for the residents of an assisted living facility. That is birthday, but it will be a brrr day, too.

  2. Morning ! Oh the blessing of rain Jo…enjoy!

Our mountains are to see snow today but the front range just a spit or two of rain…praying for Kathaleena’s snow for us. ⛄️

The flowers are so dainty Janice. They are certainly a delight…

Off to run errands then home to read. I’ve been reading some Lynn Austin books and enjoying them.

  3. Finished the state and federal returns this morning.

Both have been accepted by the Revenue Services.

    Glad that’s done.

Now I have to go online to the Federal Court website and explain to them why I can’t drive to Philly everyday, and why I can’t sit for more than an hour at a time, and the rest of the list, which is quite long.

Got a jury questionnaire, not a summons mind you, just a list of questions to determine if I’m a good juror candidate.

    I’m not.

  4. WordPress issues, again!

My friend fell in the parking lot, blacked out. I sort of caught her as she was dropping but could not hold her since I am not longer very strong. She ended on her back and I saw the back of her head hit. I am no help in an emergency situation, but a parking lot worker wanted to know if we needed help. She went inside to get it. My friend came to, did not realize what had happened, got up, and drove us home. She was on a new allergy medicine this week and had gotten off as it had made her feel dizzy with a stomach ache. She blamed that med. Needless to say I was very shaken, more than she was. She is 87.

  5. Oh Janice! That drive home must have been concerning… but she made it home ok? Praying for your friend.

Aj I hate jury duty…,I know I’ve been told it is an honor and civic duty but I’ve been called 7 times in the past 40 years of living here and so many I know have never been called! Something there needs fixin’!

  6. I called and my friend sounded chipper and sorry she gave me a fright. I hope she is not horribly sore tomorrow. I may be from trying to catch her. It all happened so quickly. It does make me wonder if I should try to find another ride or just Zoom in. She is such a kind woman, always helping others.

  7. I am reading a Lynn Austin book, but not one about the bible.

I hope your friend is truly all right, Janice. Does she have someone at home with her? Sometimes those head injuries can show up later.

  8. She is proudly independent. I called her this evening. She has noticed her elbow is sore. I told her she will probably be more sore tomorrow. I advised she should take aspirin or pain relief sooner rather than after pain escalates and gets out of control.

She actually went back out to a store to pick up something for a gathering tomorrow. Much braver soul than I would be.

  9. So I don’t trust all sources, but it seems that the Canadian constitution allows provinces to vote for independence. So the province of Alberta just got enough signatures to put independence on the ballot. This would include Edmonton, Calgary, Banff, etc. A very wealthy province.

So I think it is funny that I saw a couple of facebook posts that a part of my family is moving to Edmonton, where their son will go to school. They want to become citizens. I think that part of it is because they don’t like a political figure. Just humorous to me. Who knows what God is doing or what will happen.

  10. Well, USA allowed states to secede, too, until several of them tried it. I often wonder how much more freedom we would have as a nation (and how much more freedom states would have to continue to be a loosely organized federation rather than a top-down country) had they been allowed to secede in peace, or had the South won. We’ll see what happens in Canada!
