Forty degrees here and the snow is a melting! We’ve been up since 3 because husband decided he needed to run the rim to rim to rim at Grand Canyon. I don’t know where he gets his energy at this age but I am thankful he enjoys what he does!
This afternoon the temp is 42° and though bright and sunny out, I feel cold. I am in a long sleeve tee with my Hilton Head hoodie on top. A day to be beach dreaming . . .
Bible study was a good time with the gals doing Biblical character studies. I have never been through the characters like this. I am thankful to learn more details.
My father is now in hospice at home. The nurse thinks it’s a matter of days. Spent a couple hours with my siblings, a bunch of their kids and grands this morning.
Thankfully, 2 days ago my father finally prayed for Jesus while my brother ministered to him.
That’s a huge weight lifted. How do you pray for God to ease someone’s suffering when you know that Hell awaits them? It’s been difficult.
But now, I can pray that, and have no fear about what awaits him.
Praise the Lord, Aj!! That is wonderful to hear! Prayers for peace for you all.
My daughter is extremely unhappy to learn she has to stay at least a few more days. They have been saying she could have a nurse come to her home to help with her drain line. She had her PICC line removed and is no longer receiving food in intravenously. Now they say they have no nurses to come to her home. She is so ready to get back home.
I know lots of people who would only need nurses come in a few times a week, but they are difficult to get. It would sure save a lot of money in the long run. It is worse in the rural areas, but she does not live in a rural area.
Thankful with you Aj! To God be the glory!!! Praying for your family as your Dad transitions from this life to eternal life with Christ! May our Lord comfort your hearts during the until then goodbyes ❣️
Oh, AJ, what sweet, sweet news. Yes, such a blessed relief. Any day or night is the perfect time for salvation in the land of the living.
Annie has been a long time away from home and family. Praying for God’s best for her and all the family. We don’t know why He allows people to wait so long, but we can trust that He has good reason. He is right on time.
Morning and Happy St Patrick’s Day!

I can’t imagine, especially at that age!
What a blessing to read the last comment yesterday from Jo! God is so good.
It was -8 here. We didn’t get all the last snow, though.
