But truly one of the the craziest things I’ve ever seen is watching the Iranian people celebrate freedom, while simultaneously watching Leftists protest in favor of the Iranian Ayatollah.
No one actually dies from MAiD rather they die from cancer or other terminal illnesses. MAiD only allows the patient to control the time of death and limit the unnecessary pain. From what I know and read; its rather hard to obtain MAiD; you must be terminally ill. Thus MAiD does not increase the number of deaths.
Fetterman is an interesting guy. A few years back, Republicans considered him a stroke victim who might have suffered brain damage and should resign. Now they post his statements. Meanwhile some Democratic supporters are walking away from him. He’s been somewhat consistent though — he’s a working class small town Democrat. However, the vast majority of Congressional Democrats are not against attacking Iran but rather the method — they want Congress to debate it as outlined in the constitution (but given the precedent over the last 25 years, the argument is weak)
Those “leftist” protesters aren’t supporting the ayatollah, they are simply against the war or the use of the military. Perhaps in some cases, they understand its not in the US interest only Israeli/Saudi. In any case just because you oppose a war doesn’t mean you support the opponent; that’s rather simplistic.
