It’s another spring like day. I found daffodils in bloom at the edge of our property by the neighbor’s mailbox. A few days up to 70° is all it takes.
Afternoon raking has become my go to exercise. These are all the dregs, not the pretty leaves after they first fall. Under the pine there is a lot of trashy debris from those storms.
I assume Pumpkin found a new place to stay. I saw the other larger white with black splotches skiddish cat once. I had thought it might be Pumpkin’s mom. Definitely a feral.
It’s a beautiful 50+ degrees here in the forest and the winds are calm. Husband is hiking taking advantage of the non windy warmer temps.
I’m cleaning and trying to spiff up the house for a birthday party we are hosting on Saturday. I kind of was drafted to have it here as the wife of the friend turning 60 was overwhelmed and couldn’t wrap her head around having 10 people in their home. They are fun congenial people who are running friends of husband so here I am….cleaning and prepping.
I pray for them often knowing none know Christ as Saviour…
