  1. Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday to Jo who never seems to age. Many blessings to you for a joyous day in the Lord.

We got the car emissions testing done this morning. The guy stuck his head in the car to get mileage and check a few other things. I asked if he’d done okay, kept warm, during the Freeze. He said yes but he’s under the weather now and had taken Thera Flu today. Whoa! Not what we needed to hear in such close proximity. And especially after l9cal news had just reported that flu cases are up again.

  2. Praying for your protection from those germs flying about. ‘Tis the time of year when I hear someone cough or sneeze I tail and run!

I’ve been picking up pine cones out on the property…we have some big ones that have fallen and I collect them for decor…a shoppe owner in town wants me to gather some for her shop but I think she has enough on her property to suffice…it’s been a bumper crop past couple of years around here! My oldest pine cone is 50 years old…picked up at the commissary parking area in Myrtle Beach when I was heavy with my first child…

  3. Earlier, we began at 29° and now we’re up to 32°. The prediction says up to 70° on Wed. with mild weather this week. Perhaps a few early bloomers will begin poking out their heads just in time for another chill down.

  4. Oh, no, Jo! Not a good birthday present! My friend, a former nurse, was telling me a hospital story recently about an old veteran in the hospital that another newer nurse refused to treat. They ended up cleaning him up together. The younger nurse, a Christian, realized the error of her ways, and volunteered to do it the next time. They cleaned him up good with shampoo, hair cut, and shave. They all ended up crying together from a point of joy and gratitude.

On another subject, lookie what I saw on TV this morning, Bosley’s Place.

“Bosley’s Place is a unique neonatal puppy rescue and sanctuary in Smyrna, Georgia, that provides 24/7 care, including bottle-feeding, for orphaned newborn puppies that wouldn’t survive in a typical shelter environment. As the only rescue in the U.S. with this exclusive focus, it serves the greater Atlanta area, offering a nursery and sanctuary for the most fragile puppies, and works to find them loving homes through a thorough adoption process.”
