  1. Thanks, Peter!

It’s a happy day so far. 46° and going up to 60° makes me happy.

We are back to the time of year, near Art’s birthday, when we have to get a car emissions sticker. Major city life in the joy lane 🙂

Brother told me about getting in trouble at school for flying paper airplanes. He got detention hall and a spanking. He said he flew the planes when the teacher had his back to the class, but once the teacher turned around while his arm was up in the air. He said he wrote notes on the planes to send to friends across the room. Oh, my, how schools have changed.

  2. I’d never dare to fly a paper airplane in class.

In one junior high class, my best friend and I were seated facing each other across the room, so we’d tap messages in morse code with our finger on the side of our head, the side facing away from the teacher.

Come to think of it, that’s sort of an odd arrangement, tables laid end to end from the front to the back, so we were all sitting sideways to the teacher. But I think all of my elementary classes were like that, and some junior high classes.

  3. That’s quite a feat for you, Kevin. Kudos to you!

That is an odd arrangement for a classroom. I guess the teacher could have a better view of each student that way, and maybe there were fewer ways to have students talking with each other. But you solved that, Kevin.
