  1. Facts.

“Fiery comments from CNN’s @ScottJenningsKY on today’s events in Minneapolis: “What strikes me is, first of all, it’s extremely sad and unfortunate that someone died. I mean, the political fighting and disagreements aside, it’s terrible. You don’t want people to die in law enforcement situations or otherwise.”

“But it strikes me that we are undergoing an epidemic of political vigilantism right now. Why are people showing up in vehicles, in convoys, not just in Minneapolis, but all over the country in an effort to obstruct lawful federal law enforcement activities? This is not an isolated incident. We have had hundreds of car rammings against ICE agents all over the country. According to DHS, this lady in this car today, along with other vehicles, had been tracking ICE agents around. Why are people believing that they can drive their car into a federal law enforcement situation and that is an appropriate thing to do?”

“I understand they don’t like the fact that these agents are enforcing existing immigration law, but that’s not how we change laws in this country. If you don’t like law, you talk to the politicians. You don’t drive your car into the middle of a building or a law enforcement situation that’s being occupied by the people who are simply there to enforce the law. If I don’t like how much the IRS is charging me in taxes, I don’t drive my car into the Treasury Department try to run somebody over. I call my congressman.”

“Political vigilantism is being encouraged by Democratic officials like the lieutenant governor of Minnesota, Peggy Flanagan, who earlier this year told people to ‘put your bodies on the line’ and Tim Walz calling these guys gestapo all year. What do you think happens when you radicalize a base of people about this?”

  2. It is incredibly sad to hear the rhetoric which is stoking fear and violence. I am sorry this woman died, but she was in the wrong. Many others are killed, hurt and/or impacted by the actions of these agitators, and they are people who did nothing wrong to anyone. They are just trying to live their lives peacefully. I, personally, know one who was afraid to leave his home, since he lives close to where this was taking place. He was not afraid of ICE. I hope the destruction is not what we had before and that his family does not lose all the value in their home and property. They did have a car stolen from their driveway a month or so ago. How many of you want these so-called peaceful protesters in your neighborhood?

  3. “BREAKING – A resident living near the site of the ICE shooting in Minneapolis confirms Renee Good was the primary antagonist leading anti-ICE protests before trying to ram an agent and being shot, contradicting her mother’s claim that she had “no involvement” in anti ICE protest.”

“Witness to deadly ICE incident: “She was the main car leading the protest.”

“She was very successful in blocking traffic.”

So it looked like she was impeding federal officers?

“Definitely, yeah. That was her goal.”

  4. Sad.

But what were they expecting? They were clearly seeking to provoke, hence the cameras.

“The wife of Renee Nicole Good—the 37-year-old Minneapolis shooting victim who attempted to run over an ICE officer—appears to have been outside the vehicle filming as her wife blocked ICE vehicles.

She is seen wearing a flannel shirt, walking around the vehicle and recording ICE officers.

She later runs back to the vehicle to check on Renee.

Afterward, she tells a nearby man, “That’s my wife.”

When he asks if she knows any of her wife’s relatives she could call, she responds, “We’re new here. I don’t have people… I can’t even breathe right now.”

Why was she outside the vehicle filming while her wife was blocking ICE officers?

    Terrible.”

  5. it matters. Again no nation on earth brings in third world people to suck off the tax paying citizens of said nation… none!!

At a House Committee on Oversight hearing, Rep. Brandon Gill pressed a Democrat witness about whether large scale Somali immigration makes Minnesota stronger or weaker, and then followed that sharp question with concrete statistics drawn from public data to test that claim. The Numbers Gill Read

Gill cited figures presented at the hearing showing a high share of Somali-headed households using government programs: about 54 percent on food stamps, 73 percent on Medicaid, and roughly 81 percent receiving welfare overall, with about 78 percent still on welfare after ten years in the United States, contrasted with much lower rates for native Minnesota households.Witness Response

The Democrat witness, Brendan Ballou, repeatedly said he did not know the exact percentages and argued the Somali community strengthens the state, while Gill kept returning to the data and the gap between the two positions in a calm but pointed exchange. Why This Exchange Matters

This was not theater for theater’s sake. Lawmakers debated taxpayer cost, program integrity, and the practical outcomes of state social services policy while pointing to multi billion dollar fraud claims in Minnesota and asking whether current oversight is working.

    “NPR just now:

‘There is controversy in Minnesota after an ICE agent shot and killed a woman while she was sitting in her car.’

And that, my friends, is how you mislead entire segments of the population.”

  7. “Democrats rhetoric has consequences.

“Breaking: Two people have just been shot by Border Patrol during an immigration operation in Portland, Ore. Anti-ICE accounts have circulated screenshots alleging that a 911 dispatcher leaked to them information about a call for police assistance.

The call log also shows a 911 call from Border Patrol stated that a husband and wife who were shot almost ran the agent(s) over. ABC News is reporting that the shooting occurred near East Burnside and 141st Avenue.”
