It should be fairly easy for the US to invade and roll over the island. And what will they accomplish; interrupting Canadian holidays? I have this vision of US tanks rolling into a resort and Cdn tourists looking mildly upset that their holiday was interrupted. It’s a cheap safe place for a winter holiday, nothing more.
Terrorism is the use of violence as a political tool (usually associated with non-state actors or we could call Russia, Israel, etc terrorists). Interestingly some terrorists groups shot drug dealers eg IRA. And drug cartels tried to avoid politics (Columbian cartels worked with FARC but rarely funded them). If drug cartels get involved in politics its a business decision — they support gov’ts that are good for business much like US companies lobby congress except one uses violence and the other uses money. Its strictly business. Drug dealers and terrorists rarely mixed (or at least the terrorists as defined above)

Always alongside the same slogans, the same organizers, the same faces. That’s when I knew this wasn’t about Gaza, or Venezuela, or “peace.”
Too bad about Tim Walz. Clear example of bullying and harassment in American politics ending a career. Although I found him far too centrist, he was a decent family man who cared about people.
Well there goes my favorite hotel in which to stay…no longer!!
A follow-up email several hours later then allegedly stated, “After further investigation online, we have found information about immigration work connected with your name and we will be cancelling your upcoming reservation. You should see a proper cancellation email in your inbox shortly from Hilton.”
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital in a statement: “Hilton has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement. When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations.”
“This is UNACCEPTABLE,” said McLaughlin. “Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?”
The issue is the “Waivered” social welfare programs masquerading as “health care” under Medicaid.
The programs at issue in Minnesota were given “waivers” from normal Medicaid regulations both before and after COVID — that means by both the Trump 1.0 and Biden Admin.
But it was during the Biden Admin. that all the fraud controls were simply abandoned by blue states, allowing them to serve as a mechanism to pump billions of dollars into left-wing social welfare programs — simultaneously bringing them votes and employing the vast legions of left-wing NGO activists while building that network even further.
But you need a population to service for this to all take root, sprout, and grow.
Hence, open borders.
The Trump DOJ 2.0 does not have anywhere close to enough lawyers to peel back the layers of this vast network throughout Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois… and every other state with a Democrat Gov.
The Gov. controls the administrative state within a state, which is where these “waivered” programs are created and operated. The Biden Admin shipped them bodies with the “open borders” policy, and then turned on the funding firehose.
“It should not be lost on citizen journalists and anyone who finds waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars offensive that starting with an investigative report by Chris Rufo in Nov-25 followed by a viral YT video by Nick Shirley, the sitting Governor of Minnesota has effectively“resigned” by choosing not to run again. In Minnesota, the question now is how far does the waste run and will it be tied back to quid pro quo campaign contributions.
Separately, the critical question for the rest of the country, and for the financial lenders from the bond market, is if these same citizen journalists can now run their playbook and direct it on California – the 4th largest economy in the world.”
