  1. Speaking of longer walks . . . while on the road early to a car body shop and back, we were involved with the road block where the monks were on their cold trek from Ft. Worth, TX to Washington, DC to promote peace. We have been seeing them on television as they stop at various towns. I was so surprised to see them in person. It is a really cold day, too!

You are ready for a mile and a quarter, Jo! Be inspired by the monks, lol

  2. Beautiful day here with 56 degrees and blue skies. Last day of the year and as Chas always reminded us…you better get done what you need to get done this year!!

Happy New Years Eve…may this next year hold every good and perfect gift from above in your lives as He continues to guide us on this journey….

  3. Happy New Year’s Eve from Atlanta. They have stopped the Peach Drop because they do not want large crowds. Instead there will be some kind of show in the sky so smaller groups can gather to view it. It may be using drones or lasers. I need to look it up and see how they are presenting it.

  4. I took my longer walk. It was closer to three miles and I was rosy cheeked for quite a while afterwards. I chose to walk a simpler road and I knew that it intersected with the golf course in several places so had three different benches to take a break on. The uphills really got to me.

But… I have written five thank you notes and am going to continue on. These are the incredible folks who are still supporting me through Wycliffe. Such a blessing as bills go up and up.

After I got home I went out and did some leaf blowing on the deck and the driveway right before the rain came.

Oh, and my friends wanted me to watch their granddaughter and she came on the walk with me. While they went to the dump. They graciously dropped by here first to see if they could fit my old water heater in their subaru outback. It worked and that water heater has been in my garage for over a year waiting to be disposed of.
