  1. Good morning to all. Hopefully, all are safe from the lousy weather that seems to be quite widespread. We are hoping to get out to dinner an hour away, but the weather may stop those plans. I am grateful we can be snug as two bugs in a rug if nothing else.

  2. Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday, Kathaleena. I hope you can get out for your birthday.

We are in the chill down phase after a high around 60 at midnight. I feel shivers today with the change. The wind has been strong today, but the sun is at least holding steady and keeping us bright.

At church yesterday a missionary we support in the Horn of Africa spoke to us. The message was about the harvest being great but the workers are few. Still keeping with the focus on service. It was a good message delivered with a nice accent.

  3. We had stunning weather yesterday–blue sky, sun. My daughter-in-law just wanted to take a walk, Seattle has been socked in a long time.

I, however, was in the kitchen all day.

I’m sitting here with my book and a quiet house, quiet mind, for the first time in a week.

    Lovely.

  4. Happy Birthday Kathaleena! May your day be filled with sweet moments!

Cold here but blue skies and sunshine. Trying to clean and rearrange some things around here. I have started another give away pile!😁

  5. Thanks all. We did get out to enjoy a late lunch. It is easier driving during daylight, so that is often the case with us these days. The roads were typical winter. The wind and cold were brutal, which is also pretty typical, but not funny (said with an accent when quoted from a long-ago television show.
