I walked in the door on Christmas night at 8 pm and went directly to bed.
For 24 hours.
Needless to say, I didn’t need any sleep last night, though I tried . . . today, I’m back on my game–dishwasher running, washing machine on the second batch, dryer on . . . I may look up the vacuum cleaner before too long!
Merry Christmas!
Oh! I get to see Stargazer and his wife for a second Christmas party!
And everyone is back here for dinner tomorrow night.
Morning! M has out partied us all!! Blessed for certain sleep deprived no more!
Cloudy and cooler here. Barometric pressure issues for those who suffer with such. Snow incoming with below 0 temps expected. My poor emerging plants confused as to which season is happening! 🪴 ⛄️
We’ll be heading home today before the snow hits again tomorrow. It is foggy and icy at the moment, so we are not in a hurry. We were all at our youngest daughter’s yesterday. It was all wonderful.
Good morning from Atlanta where we expect a high of 74°. It’s perfect weather for almost January, lol
I used up the rest of my medical spending card at CVS this morning. I think our plan will no longer offer the spending cards for extras, but we will get a discount at CVS because of being on Aetna Medicare Advantage. They canceled the Medicare plan in nearby counties but kept it here probably because of the relationship with Emory University Hospital and medical facilities. It has been a good plan for us so far.
We are down to the end of the leftovers today. So sad 😦
Oh, I remember that last piece of pumpkin pie! And she’s off, on her way down the stairs to the kitchen . . .
I don’t care much for CVS stores in general, but we have a very nice one at Toco Hills, close to Emory. I prefer Walgreen’s. Does anyone else have a preference on drug stores? We use Kroger for our pharmacy, and I got a flu shot at Sam’s Club which is never crowded.
We got snow!… only an inch but enough to slick up the roads. Husband went to church early as he had to set up the sound system… I stayed home…it was 9 degrees and -1 wind chill brrr
NJ, that one inch sounds like a big snow in Atlanta. We are supposed to be back in thec30s tomorrow. Not ready for the dip, again, although Art did receive a heavy coat for Christmas.

Well I went to Safeway to get some fresh fruit and bakery bread…spent 100.00 for two totes of stuff! How did that happen?!
While there I noticed Christmas items gone replaced with Valentines…everywhere!!❣️
We use King Soopers(Kroger) pharmacy. Our Walgreens has terrible service and the pharmacy is closed many times due to no pharmacists!

We are supposed to use CVS, but it is in Target, so we seldom go there. We have always had good service at the Walgreens, including for shots.
We are home again. Our drive was very easy with a bit of fog here and there. The roads were dry, which is nice. Tomorrow the snow hits again.
