Morning! And today would be the day to get out there and start shopping for great after Christmas sales for next year! But I am resigned to staying home away from chaos!
It is again warm here and a bit cloudy but that sunrise this morning was absolutely stunning! Deep red skies leaving a reddish hue over this forest! WOW! The artistry of our Lord is something to behold!
I am kind of itching to take the tree down…it has been up since the beginning of November….
NJ, your morning there sounds like the glorious morning here.
Son and I visited the Farmer’s Mkt. this morning. That is enough shopping for me today.
We have some wonderful leftovers to enjoy today. Thankful.
Son gave me a North Face black fleece vest. I had asked for a black fleece vest thinking it would be easy to find and inexpensive. He looked everywhere and could not find one in medium so he ordered online from Dick’s Sporting Goods. It is lined so nicer than what I usually use with zippers that always break.
Ground Hog Day was a fun movie. And I love a good fleece vest…I have a couple of Columbia vests and they are perfect for the not too cold not too warm days!
The living room tree is now in the basement for another year. The family room tree is still lighted by the fireplace. I removed most of my little primitive trees and they are in the mud room on the top shelf for another year. I am leaving out the pine boughs and little pine trees on the porch…for winter decoration. We are supposed to see frigid temps and maybe some snow tomorrow night and Sunday morning. Winter might just be making an appearance finally!
Only 364 shopping days til Christmas!

oh Janice. I wear my vest every day in the winter
my phone now has internet but nothing else does
such a fierce storm last night. Very high winds which is rather scary with my home surrounded by trees
